BLM Global Network Foundation’s Creators Are Not Interested in Black Lives

Black Lives Matter benefits from a vicious cycle that allows the organization to carry on changing America beyond recognition. Large media companies like The New York Times, The Washington Post, and TV networks have imposed a news blackout that ensures that BLM supporters ignore its intent and practices.

This continues to be the case despite several breaking bombshells this year alone regarding financial improprieties by the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, BLM’s mothership.

So unless you are that rare BLM backer who assiduously watches Fox News or reads the New York Post or the Washington Examiner—three organizations that take their journalistic responsibilities seriously regarding BLM, and which have recently been joined by New York Magazine—there are a number of important things you have missed.

Here’s a handy rundown of just the major items, so you can email it to your liberal cousin:

Secret purchase of mansion in Southern California and attempts to lie about it: New York Magazine, a liberal media company that has decided to break omerta on BLM, broke the news last Monday that the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation had purchased a $6 million California mansion and went through great duplicitous lengths to keep it hidden.

Reporter Sean Campbell, who said on social media that breaking the story had been very hard on him, wrote that after he contacted the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, its “leaders circulated an internal strategy memo with possible responses, ranging from ‘Can we kill the story?’ to ‘Our angle—needs to be to deflate ownership of the property.’”

In one last desperate attempt at obfuscation, Shalomyah Bowers, a Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation board member, said in an email that the organization had bought the California mansion “to serve as housing as studio for recipients of the Black Joy Creators Fellowship … which provides recording resources and dedicated space for Black creatives.”

Never mind that the fellowship wasn’t announced until the following morning.

Even the purchase itself was made by a third party named Dyane Pascall, a financial manager for an LLC owned by Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation co-founder Patrisse Cullors. Within a week Pascall transferred the property to another LLC set up by the Perkins Coie law firm. “That maneuver ensured that the ultimate identity of the property’s new owner was not disclosed to the public,” wrote Campbell.

Purchase of former headquarters of Communist Party of Canada: The Washington Examiner’s Andrew Kerr has broken several stories on the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation that have not been matched by the Bigs. One of them revealed earlier this year that the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation had also spent $8 million on a Toronto mansion that had been the headquarters of the Communist Party of Canada. The revelation has angered Canadian supporters.

“For BLM Canada to take money from BLM Global Network [Foundation] for a building without consulting the community was unethical,” Canadian BLM activists Sarah Jama and Sahra Soudi said in a statement quoted by Kerr in January. Which brings us to another ignored item:

The families of black Americans slain by police in whose name BLM says it acts have often complained about not seeing help.

In a story he filed in February, Campbell wrote that Michael Brown Sr., Lisa Simpson, and Samaria Rice—the father of Michael Brown and the mothers of Tamara Rice and Richard Risher—have complained that they haven’s seen a penny from BLM.

Brown released a video in 2020 asking for money while the two mothers called for the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation and others to stop capitalizing on their tragedy.

“We don’t want or need y’all parading in the streets accumulating donations, platforms, movie deals, etc. off the death of our loved ones, while the families and communities are left clueless and broken,” they wrote in a statement. “Don’t say our loved ones’ names period! That’s our truth!”

Not even the IRS knows where the money that hasn’t gone into real estate has gone. As Fox Business’ Danielle Wallace reported in February, the attorneys general of deep blue California and Washington state have ordered the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation to submit delinquent financial reports for 2020, and the organization had to cease fundraising.

Big Tech has been complicit in the news blackout. Facebook has made sure that a New York Post story of a year ago on how Cullors, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation co-founder and former leader, had bought three homes worth millions disappeared into the memory hole.

Facebook has not been alone. When one of us published “BLM: The Making of a New Marxist Revolution” last September, Amazon banned ads for the book under the pretext that it dealt with “highly debated social topics.” When I poured scorn on the idea, Amazon retreated.

Twitter, too, has gladly played the censorship game. When black sports journalist Jason Whitlock criticized Cullors’ purchase, Twitter locked his account for violating its policy against “posting private information.” But Twitter allowed the private information—names, emails, ZIP codes, and internet protocol addresses—of hundreds of donors to the Canadian trucker convoy to proliferate unimpeded across its site in February.

BLM, however, deserves scrutiny. Since its inception years ago, it has been at the forefront of a profound social change that has exploded into our classrooms, offices, military bases, churches, and corporations. Which brings us to the final and most important item that Big Media and Big Tech have suppressed.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation’s founders were trained by Marxist theoreticians on how to overthrow the American system.

BLM’s leaders trained for years at centers set up by Maoists, Soviet apologists, and experts on Antonio Gramsci’s strategy of effecting revolution by preceding it with ideological indoctrination. It is this untold Marxism that ties all the previous items together.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation’s creators are not interested in social justice, or black lives.

BLM silent when confronted with data showing massive 2020 spike in Black murders victims

Black murders spiked by 32% in 2020 compared to 2019, and by 43% that year compared to the 10-year average.

Emma Colton, Fox News, Apr 19, 2022 - The Black Lives Matter organization was silent when approached for comment on 2020’s skyrocketing number of Black murders and experts citing BLM and the defund the police movements for contributing to the deaths.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Black Lives Matter press team on April 14 inquiring if they had comment on FBI data showing there was a 32% increase in Black murders in 2020 compared to 2019, as well as a comment regarding experts such as the Manhattan Institute’s Heather Mac Donald arguing the BLM and defund the police movements contributed to the murder spike, not the coronavirus.

Fox News Digital also detailed the yearly numbers of Black murders from 2010 to 2020 within the inquiry but did not receive a response from the organization as of Tuesday morning.

The summer of 2020 was marked by protests and riots from coast to coast in support of the BLM and defund the police movements following the death of George Floyd. FBI data show murders across the board spiked by nearly 30% in 2020 compared to the year prior, marking the largest single-year increase in killings since the agency began tracking the crimes.

For Black Americans, the murders spiked disproportionally.

At least 7,484 Black Americans were murdered in 2019, according to FBI data Fox News Digital reported on Tuesday. That number shot up to at least 9,941 murders in 2020, meaning there was an increase of 2,457 Black Americans murdered over the previous year.

Among White murders, FBI data show there were 7,043 White people murdered in 2020, meaning 2,898 more Black people were killed compared to Whites.

An average of 6,927 Black Americans were murdered each year between 2010 and 2019, meaning Black murders shot up by 43% in 2020 compared to the previous 10-year average.

Thousands of people across the country pledged their support for Black Lives Matter in 2020, including by joining protests. Support of the group also extended to corporations vowing donations to social justice initiatives, athletes wearing BLM apparel at the stadium and celebrities rushing to publicly support and donate to BLM.

"Certainly, the protests and riots mid-2020 after the death of George Floyd followed a pattern of spiking violence that we've seen following past viral police incidents, such as the deaths of Michael Brown and Freddie Gray. This pattern has been termed the ‘Ferguson Effect’: police pull back while violent crime spikes precipitously," Hannah Meyers, director of the policing and public safety initiative at the Manhattan Institute, told Fox News Digital.

The Ferguson effect was coined by St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson in 2014 after police shot and killed Black man Michael Brown, sparking widespread protests. The theory gained widespread attention in 2016 after Mac Donald wrote an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal arguing the effect is one "where the Black Lives Matter narrative about racist, homicidal cops has produced virulent hostility in the streets."

Murders in the 2010s first broke the 7,000 murder benchmark in 2015 after the high-profile deaths of Freddie Gray that same year and Brown in 2014, jumping by nearly a thousand in one year. Black murders had fallen four years prior to Brown's death, according to the FBI data reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Mac Donald wrote in 2020 that the Ferguson effect was playing out again following Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, and was unfolding with even more brutality.

2020’s "violent-crime increase—call it Ferguson Effect 2.0 or the Minneapolis Effect— has come on with a speed and magnitude that make Ferguson 1.0 seem tranquil," Mac Donald wrote during the crime spike that year.

She told Fox News Digital this month that the Black Lives Matter and the defund the police movements contributed to the crime spike in 2020 and had nothing to do with the coronavirus and lockdowns.

Other experts have meanwhile cited the shock of the pandemic and its lockdowns for the crime spike of 2020. A University of California study, for example, estimated that more than 100,000 Californians bought guns in 2020 out of fear of the pandemic's destabilizing effects. The study argued that by aggravating "poverty, unemployment, lack of resources, isolation, hopelessness and loss," the pandemic has "worsened many of the underlying conditions contributing to violence."

Meyers told Fox News Digital that the coronavirus likely aggravated the effects of the Ferguson effect in 2020, explaining that police forces were "diminished" with officers calling out sick, and young men, who are the "most likely to be involved in gun violence," left with time on their hands when schools closed businesses shuttered.

"But were there more homicides in 2020 due to Covid-related hardships such as the need for food? Anecdotally, I don't know of any such murders and I'm skeptical that this was a significant contributor to the enormous surge," Meyers added.

I find it absurd that black people can use those words, yet if I do I am a racist white supremacist who is guilty of a hate crime. Words are NEVER a hate crime, unless they incite violence/murder, then they are.

Since procuring Twitter, Musk is pretty adamant about Free Speech. This is just repugnant, but hey it's BLM! Go to the link at the bottom for the screenshots. Like the cowards they are, they'll delete it from their own pages. It's saved here though.

"Your Position Is Clear" - Musk Slams Terrorist-Supporting BLM Posts

This is going to get awkward for a lot of virtue-signalers...

At least two Black Lives Matters (BLM) groups have made statements on X, formerly known as Twitter, supporting Hamas - the terrorist group responsible for the deaths of over 1,200 Israelis (including women and babies).

The first BLM group (@blmgrassroots) issued a lengthy statement proclaiming, among other things, that "when a people has been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned but understood as a desperate act of self-defense." The statement did not include any criticism of Hamas or its tactics.

We used a screenshot of the tweet since we suspect this will be deleted very quickly.

This should not be a surprise since Melina Abdullah, the co-director of the group, has been accused of antisemitism, according to InfluenceWatch. But, if you thought that was a little distasteful, here is what BLM's Chicago affiliate tweeted.

Again, we used a screenshot of the tweet since we suspect this will be deleted very quickly.

It doesn't get much clearer than that - BLM 'standing with' paragliding terrorists who killed hundreds of innocent Israeli concertgoers (as the community note makes it clear) .

Ultimately, Elon Musk - who has repeatedly been accused of anti-semitism by the Anti-Defamation League, which in turn has frequently supported BLM in the past - made it very clear how he feels about their comment...

Still don't see it - maybe this tweet will help clarify things...

Presumably the following companies will be demanding their money back, all $99 billion of it, and will promptly cease any and all donations to BLM-affliliated groups and issue a statement of regret for their prior support...

Also, Jonathan Greenblatt and the Anti-Defamation League have been awkwardly quiet in their rebuke of BLM...

However, that may leave Mr.Greenblatt with a problem, given that Israel Hayom reported last year that a Fox News investigation found that the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)'s educational and "anti-bias" programs, which influence millions of American children, educators and officials, promote far-left and critical race theory (CRT) concepts including "white privilege" and "systemic racism," and promote groups such as the Women's March and BLM – despite those organizations or their leaders' virulent Jew-hating, Israel-hating and pro-Farrakhan positions.

This problem a longstanding.

Six years ago, ZOA documented that multiple ADL educational lesson plans: encouraged students to join BLM protests in Ferguson (the same protests that demanded ending Israel's existence, calling Israel an apartheid genocidal state); promoted BLM while ignoring the BLM/M4BL organizations' antisemitism and antisemitic platform; and repeated numerous BLM false claims.

The list of critiques of ADL includes:

ADL sought to defund and remove the tax exemptions from three pro-Israel organizations (including prominent Christian Zionist group PTNJ).

ADL hired an outreach director who justified anti-Israel terrorism; said Jews need to "repent for Gaza's dead"; and, after Black extremists murdered innocent Jews in Jersey City, blamed Black antisemitism on "Jewish landlords, and pawnbrokers and small merchants" and on "systemic racism" against Blacks.

ADL's Black History Month celebration featured an Israel-hating BDS activist.

After Ilhan Omar tweeted, "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.", and gave an insulting "non-apology," claiming she reacted to Israeli "oppression," Greenblatt praised Ilhan Omar, saying: "Hats off to Rep Omar for her honest apology & commitment to a more just world."

ADL opposed Israel's anti-BDS law banning BDS activists from entering Israel, which was upheld by Israel's courts. Furthermore, in 2018, ADL said that Israel should allow antisemitic boycott activist, SJP-BDS hate group president and terrorism supporter Lara Alqasem to enter Israel.

In September 2020, ADL co-signed a full-page New York Times advertisement promoting the antisemitic Israel-bashing BLM. ADL signed just four months after BLM burned, defaced and looted Los Angeles Jewish synagogues, schools and businesses; and despite BLM/M4BL falsely accusing Israel of genocide, ethnic cleansing, training US police to murder Blacks, etc.

We look forward to Greenblatt's appearance on CNBC to clear up any confusion.

Maybe Matt Walsh was on to something...

Bonus BLM Tweet (from the UK)...

* * *

And while we are at it, anyone remember this?

Presumably, Google and its ad-services will have already contacted all BLM-affiliated groups and banned them for 'policy violations' (which we assume includes, supporting baby-killing terrorists?)

And now we wait for this epic SNAFU by the deep state's favorite on-demand riot organization (whose activity tends to peak 3-6 months prior to presidential elections) to force the FBI to conclude that BLM is yet another white-supremacist terrorist organization...

BLM Deletes Tweet Celebrating Hamas Rave Massacre, Then Doubles Down

Update (0953ET): After celebrating the Hamas paraglider massacre at a rave in Israel which killed more than 260 people, BLM Chicago has deleted their tweet, and said that they had "sent out msgs that we aren’t proud of."

"We stand with Palestine & the people who will do what they must to live free," the statement continues.

Yesterday we sent out msgs that we aren’t proud of. We stand with Palestine & the people who will do what they must to live free. Our hearts are with, the grieving mothers, those rescuing babies from rubble, who are in danger of being wiped out completely🇵🇸♥️🖤💚
— BLMChicago (@BLMChi) October 11, 2023

The Marxist organization then tweeted that they were praying for God to "please unharden Israels heart & help them to stop bombing children & taking over peoples homes & building fences."

Us too, God please unharden Israels heart & help them to stop bombing children & taking over peoples homes & building fences, god please help them see the beauty & peace that can come of ending genocidal behavior https://t.co/kVBkBjEGpw
— BLMChicago (@BLMChi) October 11, 2023

However distasteful it was to celebrate the rave massacre, BLM has been consistent in their views.

Shot:

Jewish groups decry Black Lives Matter platform’s view on Israel (Aug, 2016)

Chaser:

600-plus Jewish groups sign full-page ad supporting Black Lives Matter (Aug, 2000)

And of course, the ADL says white supremacists are celebrating the attack on Israel.

White supremacist leaders are openly celebrating Hamas’s attack on Israel, cheering explicit depictions of violence against Israelis and promoting brutality against Jews worldwide. Read more from our Center on Extremism: https://t.co/ynZPhgKZs9

They'll need to come up with a new gimmick to con more millions of $ from gullible peeps. The old one has lost its efficacy over time. Most of the 50% percent or so that remains that still believe in BLM don't have any money to be conned out of.

Support for the Black Lives Matter Movement Has Dropped Considerably From Its Peak in 2020

JUNE 14, 2023

A majority of Americans say the increased focus on issues of race in the past three years hasn’t led to improvements for Black Americans

BY JULIANA MENASCE HOROWITZ, KILEY HURST AND DANA BRAGA

Quote:
Ten years after the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag first appeared on Twitter, about half of U.S. adults (51%) say they support the Black Lives Matter movement, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. Three years ago, following the murder of George Floyd, two-thirds expressed support for the movement.

BLM.
Still a terrorist organization.
Embraced by media driven snowflakes.

So they've got that going for them.
Enjoy.

Blowblack: Coca-Cola Quietly Removes Black Lives Matter Support On Its Website

Coca-Cola appeared to delete a paragraph on its website that supported Black Lives Matter, coming as Black Lives Matter drew controversy for backing Hamas.

"Earlier this month, Sprite announced a $500,000 contribution to the Black Lives Matter Global Network in a social post committing action in the fight for racial justice. On June 28, the brand debuted a new TV commercial during the 2020 BET Awards telecast showcasing Black America’s resilience, excellence and optimism. The 60-second spot titled ‘Dreams Realized’ emphasizes Sprite’s commitment to making young Black creators’ dreams a reality and to inspire the next generation to do more and dream bigger," an archived version of the Coca-Cola-owned Sprite website page says.

A current version of the web page omitted that paragraph, suggesting the beverage giant deleted it. It appears changes were made to the web page on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21, according to Archive.org records. The Epoch Times has reached out to Coca-Cola, which has not addressed the matter publicly, for comment on Sunday.

It came after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) made reference to the Coca-Cola website and tied its support of Black Lives Matter to backing Hamas, a U.S. State Department-designated terrorist group that carried out multiple attacks on Israel earlier this month that left hundreds of civilians—including children—dead. Israel has responded by embarking on a bombing campaign of Gaza, where Hamas operates.

"CAUGHT RED-HANDED. [Coca-Cola] deletes its support for BLM. One screenshot is of [Coca-Cola's] website before BLM supported Hamas parachuting into a concert to kill Israeli civilians," Mr. Cruz wrote on social media website X. "The other is from this morning. Editing your website is not enough. Americans DEMAND an apology."

On his podcast, "The Verdict," he criticized Coca-Cola and other companies days before that for their support of Black Lives Matter in the wake of the Hamas attacks.

Last week, he also made reference to the corporate support in another post on X: “For every corporate donor who sent millions to BLM—including Amazon, Apple, BlackRock & Bank of America—do you regret supporting such a virulently antisemitic organization?”

It came after a Black Lives Matter group wrote on X---days after the Hamas attacks---that it backed the group and Palestinians.

"As Black people continue the fight to end militarism and mass incarceration in our own communities, let us understand the resistance in Palestine as an attempt to tear down the gates of the world’s largest open-air prison," BLM Grassroots wrote on Oct. 9. "As a radical Black organization grounded in abolitionist ideals, we see clear parallels between Black and Palestinian people. For lasting peace to come, the entire apartheid system must be dismantled."

“Do you support Black Lives Matter’s Marxist agenda supporting Hamas? Are you antisemites? Do you support that we need to end Israel?” the Texas senator asked.

Around the same time, a Black Lives Matter chapter in Chicago posted a more supportive backing of Hamas. It stated, "I stand with Palestine," and included an image of a parachuting individual with the Palestinian flag. That post was later deleted.

There have been reports and video footage of Hamas terrorists using parachutes and other airborne devices in a series of surprise attacks on Oct. 7.

After deleting the post, the group wrote that "we sent out [messages] that we aren’t proud of. We stand with Palestine [and] the people who will do what they must to live free. Our hearts are with the grieving mothers, those rescuing babies from rubble, who are in danger of being wiped out completely."

Attention Whore much bish?

It's "Slightly Racist To Be A Taylor Swift Fan", BLM Co-Founder Says

Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State University Los Angeles who is a leader in the Black Lives Matter movement and once argued Jussie Smollet was framed, recently stated she thinks Taylor Swift fans are kinda racist.

Abdullah made the comments in a post on X during Super Bowl, prompting a lively debate on the platform as Swift attended the game to watch her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce, help lead his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, to victory.

Abdullah also wrote on X after the game, in response to the San Francisco 49ers loss: “Why do I feel like this was some right-wing, white-supremacist conspiracy?!?! Booooooo!!!!”

“Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended. Virtually everything is racist,” she wrote in another post that day after her comments garnered attention.

Abdullah did not respond to requests for comment from The College Fix over the last week seeking further context on her posts and the interest they prompted.

"Too many American flags" is also racist-feeling-y...

Professor Abdullah’s faculty bio describes her as “a womanist scholar-activist – understanding the role that she plays in the academy as intrinsically linked to broader struggles for the liberation of oppressed people.”

Abdullah is listed as a co-founder of Black Lives Matter’s Los Angeles chapter and co-director of Black Lives Matter Grassroots, the activist wing of the controversial advocacy organization.

In December 2021, she authored a post arguing Jussie Smollett is innocent during his trial.

“In our commitment to abolition, we can never believe police, especially the Chicago Police Department (CPD) over Jussie Smollett, a Black man who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for Black freedom. While policing at-large is an irredeemable institution, CPD is notorious for its long and deep history of corruption, racism, and brutality,” she wrote.

Two days after that statement was published, Smollett was found guilty of staging a fake hate crime.

The actor had claimed he was attacked by two white men screaming “This is MAGA country” in the middle of the night in freezing weather on the streets of Chicago in 2019. He has actually hired two black men to perpetrate the hoax.

Abdullah called the verdict a “white supremacist charade.”

As The College Fix has previously reported, at a 2017 conference on intersectionality and discrimination, Abdullah said current-day police officers are the “slave catchers” of yesteryear: “You literally have a target on your back. That is what policing was founded on and that is what it evolved out of.”

A year before that, Abdullah referred to Jewish conservative commentator Ben Shapiro as a “neo-KKK member” and “part of the conversation about ‘anti-blackness.’”

In 2022, she said on X that white people should not go to Juneteeth cookouts.

Abdullah’s more recent comments come as academia focuses on the Swift “phenomenon.”

Swift’s ongoing musical tour became the highest-grossing tour of all time and hit $1 billion in revenue as of December 2023. The singer received six nominations at the Grammys this year, announcing a brand new album as she received one of her two awards of the night.

The University of Florida will offer an honors course on Swift’s “evergreen songwriting” this spring semester, led by a professor with a stated interest in promoting “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Harvard University is also offering a course on Swift’s music titled “Taylor Swift and Her World” during the spring semester.

“We will move through Swift’s own catalogue, including hits, deep cuts, outtakes, re-recordings, considering songwriting as its own art, distinct from poems recited or silently read,” a course description on Harvard’s website reads. “We will learn how to study fan culture, celebrity culture, adolescence, adulthood and appropriation; how to think about white texts, Southern texts, transatlantic texts, and queer subtexts.”

Abdullah is also not the first in academia to blast Swift and her fandom.

In 2022, shortly after Swift released her album “Midnights,” the singer was forced to delete a section of her music video for the song “Anti-Hero” for what some viewed as promotion of fatphobia.

In the music video, Swift is astonished to see a bathroom scale reading “fat,” while a second character, also played by Swift, looks at it reproachfully. Some defended the music video, saying the scene drew attention to the harms of eating disorders suffered mostly by women. Kristin Rodier and Heather McLean, professors at Athabasca University, responded to Swift’s defenders in an article for The Conversation.

“Some have raised concerns that Swift’s removal of the scene from the video watered down her feminist message,” Rodier and McLean wrote. “This suggests that fat becomes a feminist issue only in the context of the harms of eating disorders from a white woman’s perspective, within market-friendly celebrity feminism.”

Northeastern University and the University of South Carolina also announced upcoming courses on Swift’s discography, with Northeastern focusing on “Gender and Storytelling” in her music.

University of South Carolina’s course will focus on Swift’s “agency as a woman,” according to a university spokesperson. The course is titled, “Life is Just a Classroom: Taylor’s Version,” an allusion to lyrics in her song “New Romantics.”

An academic conference put on by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2021 examined the “whiteness” of Swift’s fanbase, referring to listening to her music as a “guilty pleasure” of many.

“In addition to looking at how she engages with gender and age and maturity, some scholars are really engaging with the politics of whiteness and how that plays out in her fandom,” said Kate Galloway, an ethnomusicologist at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
