I expected that. The Nets have no leaders, just complimentary players. Though they are stars. I think if they had kept Harden they could have won it all. He is an alpha dog.

Yeah, I was happy to see Kyrie get punched in the mouth by his old team.

Amazing talent, but no leadership skills at all. And KD... Celts played some D and he folded.

Don't follow much basketball. My son and wife are full in Bucks fans. I'd be considered a legacy 76ers fan.
Even as a Sixers die easy fan, I appreciate the Celts knocking out Brooklyn.

Fair weather Celts fan here.

Unusual series. There were stretches where the Nets seemed to dominate, yet the Celtics would hold onto the lead. Never seen anything like it.
KD and Kyrie each had some good games. Just not together.
That Curry brother was their star.
And by brother I mean steph or seth or whatever.

The Bucks are gonna be tough to beat.
But Boston is finally showing some leadership.

Fun times.

Tatum, Smart and Brown played some serious minutes. 40+ for all 3 of 'em.

Bucks play better under pressure. Jhrue rules, Lopez towers, Gianni 40+ point game. Going to be great game.

it's been a great series!

It does look like you can let the Greek Freak score 40 and D up everyone else to beat them though.

And one of these days they might actually call 10% of his traveling and charges. He gets better ref treatment than LeBron.

What did he do?

Wife was telling me the Celts have outplayed the Bucks. Lucky to still have the series alive.

What did he do?

He bitches like LeBra Hn and has taken to doing this stupid mean mug face after he scores at times. Complains when he doesn’t get phantom calls and unless he murders someone running them over doesn’t get called for charging.

I am now ambivalent about plunking down serious money at midseason on the Celts to win it all...thought that was a viable plan when the Lakers turned into a sh**show.

It is very difficult for a Lakers fan from the 60's to root for the green...

Kinda, sorta +1

Became a Lakers fan in the late 60s because their games were broadcast into Hawaii and I would listen when I could. Wilt, Jerry, Elgin, Chick, there was a lot to love. But fell out of love when the Kobe-Shaq squabbling led to Shaq being traded. Never cheered for the Lakers again nor found any other team to replace them.

in related news, he's cashed in a ton of memorabilia in the last year.
Auctioned off a lot of stuff for a lot of money.
He's in his mid to late 80's now.

The Celtics, Lakers-Larry, Magic rivalry made the NBA. Then Michael and Scottie made the NBA even more. I have never seen anything like their 70 win season, I think all 82 games were sellouts. The game has evolved. Now the championship runs through Golden State. They retooled for another run, just as the Bulls did.

Die Hard Celtics fan here.
I bleed green.

Jason Tatum for president.
Marcus Smart is da man. Except when he's out. Then Robert Williams is da man.

Fun times.
