So yesterday, while walking the aisle at Sam's Club, they had Jim Beam and ginger ale 4 packs on clearance for $5.

So I figured... what the hell it's $5, right? Just poured one... not bad at all. Worth the $1.25 I paid for it, fuh sho...

A much better than average drink is a Bourbon Breeze. Especially for summer- of California 10 months a year.
-12 oz glass, 3/4 filled with ice.
-Two shots of reasonably good bourbon.
-One shot of good Triple Sec.
-Fill with good, non-alcohol Ginger Beer.
-Add a slice of orange.
-Stir.

Lip smackin' tasty.

Ginger Ale is good. Ginger Beer, better.

Henry McKenna, a couple of nights this past week.

A better pour at $35 than $50, still enjoyable though.

Bulliett Rye.

I am definitely a fan of the rye, just not the stuff that taste like a shot of wheatgrass.

Bulliett, Redemption, WT101...yes.
Whistlepig...nope.

A mensch I am friends with received a sampler of American single malts from some company called Bevridge. He tried a few and didn't care for the single malt style, so he gave me the remaining seven. Each bottle is 50ml. Currently drinking the Boulder American Single Malt Whisky Bottled in Bond. Very tasty.
