OpFTH (Operation from the Heart) has collectively decided to close its operation by the end of this year. It has been a great run - and we appreciate the support and community that this has grown. We simply can not continue at the rate of donations (items and shipping) anymore at this point.

This started HERE in 2004 -this community and those from other locations have made this project continue to do good over the years. For that, we thank you!

All re-occurring shipping subscriptions / donations have been cancelled or stopped . The links have been removed. We will continue to ship what we can from limited funds until they are used up.

The website will begin to "sunset" in the next few months as we slowly fade away. Please continue to support grassroots organizations like ours somewhere else. YOU DID GOOD!

keep our troops in your thoughts and Thank you for years of SUPPORT!

Just a thought, what about the idea of some people taking over? Or would there still be issues? Hate to see this go away if it's been going that long.

start a new one. the current 501c3 IRS registration will expire and the business front in Michigan will be dissolved 12/21/2022

most people are under the false impression that the troops all came home and this is not necessary now. its not at the forefront and therefore donation of items and support of funds have greatly diminished over the last year(s).

what started as me paying for 80% of the costs of buying items and shipping every month costs - has come full circle. its back! and I can not sustain it any longer. No one ever adds a soldier either to our lists anymore. our current SHIP TO submissions is under 5 currently.

those factors led to these decisions.

IF someone wishes to begin a new. so be it. but OpFTH registrations and business has been concluded officially.

I always thought there should be a "add a fiver for the troops" option at a discount price when checking out on CBid auctions and CI mothership checkout...

this may be in the works. Not as a fund raiser like the past. Just a ONE LAST SHIRT and the costs will be shirt costs only.

Stay tuned.... It will only be offered for CBID members.

I still have and wear my shirts regularly and would be in for one last one. My favorite is the one with the front pocket though I never put anything in it. (Pretty threadbare at this point.)

Whatever happens I am glad to have been in a position to help in this worthy cause.

A really big thanks to you Smitty for all the efforts and results from your work.

what about a tomb stone with born/died dates on it 2003-2022 and a cigar and of course a POCKET. or would that be too morbid (death)?

Nothing too morbid, inappropriate, nor offensive round these here parts. Mostly anyway. You'll know after you've crossed a line

Smitty, I was afraid that this would happen when OpFTH canceled my monthly automatic contribution through Paypal a few weeks ago. I was glad to have helped, doing my little bit, over all these years.

You and your colleagues deserve a huge serving of gratitude for all your efforts. THANK YOU!!!

The mothership's brick n mortars in PA have a box to donate fivers for the troops. Every time I'm in the store I make it a point to pick up and extra pack to donate. Sorry I didn't join in time to participate in OpFTH. There is never enough that we can do for our troops IMO! Herfing

It has been an honor to support OpFTH. You and your Patriots have done tremendous work for the Troops. You have been a Blessing to so many. Any words would fall short of the positive impact OpFTH has had on our men and women in service of this country.
A heartfelt Thank you.

Ordered the shirt - will wear it proudly.
