Why do they let people buy 10 plus lots?

Nothing bothers me more than when I am trying to win a bid at a decent price and someone jumps in and buys 8,9 or even 10 lots. On this particular bid there are 15 lots available. Someone is trying to get 10. Really?? Sounds like a resale buy. Why can't they limit purchases to a reasonable number like 5. Give other people a chance to win at a decent price.

This is actually a common bidding strategy with the hopes of winning a couple, maybe even 3 or 4 lots at a very good price. First in, last out. Of course it can backfire on the bidder when he / she wins much more than anticipated.

Or, of course, there’s someone reselling the product. There’s a thread somewhere that kinda identifies a few suspected resellers.

Sorry about that but maybe I was just stocking up.

Getting outbid is for losers.

The ones I find annoying are the Ebay resellers that bid on lighters, Hygrometers and other accessories. I usually bid on them just to hike their winning price.

Carlos Hathcock was a pretty good one. Read "One Shot, One Kill". It's all about snipers.

Don't let these guys get you down. I feel you, unfortunately there is lawlessness (anarchy) masquerading around as if it was right... and let me tell you what, in a world like this, you really have to stand up for yourself.

Stand tall, pull that wallet out, and fire as much as you can reasonably afford at those mountain of cigars. Never let them take what is rightfully yours... be a taker.
