Well, there is your PTSD. That should be the ticket.

If not, tell the doc you’ve known me 17 years. Although that might get you an inpatient stay.

Last leg of the trip. 5.5 hours on the map, means 7.5. Gotta good liquor store in Casper we gotta hit. Pickens get slim after we leave the big city!

Grabbed a couple beers as Oskar Blues for the road. Will report back later! Beer

Only those familiar with Wyoming will see the hilarity in calling Casper the big city.

Safe travels Kipp

We made it safely. I’ve been very busy since we arrived. The person who was supposed to be watching the house dropped the ball. It’s obvious that she hasn’t been by since the wife and I were here in April. We are hosting my Aunt today, and have the Family Ranch meeting Saturday. I’ll be cooking the briskets as is our tradition. Maybe we can rest on Sunday! Beer

One of my h.s. classmate's younger brother was the Race Director of the Austin Marathon. He's since retired and moved to NC. Should have taken him up on his invitation to go to Austin and hang out.

Men Plan, God laughs.

Started feeling poorly on Wednesday evening. Laid up the next two days. Been isolating in the basement. Mom has no symptoms, but both of us tested positive today with the home tests. I’m feeling better, but still like crap. Brick wall

Mom’s cousin came by yesterday to pick up the cooked briskets. Mom did them in the oven with one bbq and one mushroom. Hope the family ranch meeting attendees enjoyed them today!

Thanks everyone. We are still here! Luckily mom didn’t get it too bad. That was the biggest fear. Sounds like we missed some excitement at the Ranch meeting. Not too sorry I missed that. Been working this week, but glad for the long weekend. It’s tiring being sick!

Maybe a bourbon tonight...... pretty sure I’m away off from wanting a cigar. 🥃

This weekend is the annual trip to Flathead Lake for cherries. It’s a nice drive, and I hit some breweries along the way. Head back to Texass in a week...
Sigh.

Not the best summer, but I’m gonna fish for trout on Tuesday, so I got that going for me.

Yep, I remember that same scenic drive and the cherrie stands. Can't remember the brewery we stopped at but it was like a large barn structure overlooking the upper end of the lake.

Last night in Montana. Tomorrow we drive up Beartooth Highway (Charles Kuralt called it America’s most beautiful drive) and down Chief Joseph Highway in Wyoming. Another annual tradition. Picked up fried chicken from a bar in Manhattan Montana to picnic. Great place that was featured in an old “Beef, it’s what’s for Dinner” commercial, Sir Scott’s Oasis.

Applause

Beartooth Highway was awesome as usual. Mom got a little freaked out about the potential for death if I went off the road... I didn’t. Beer

Fishing tomorrow and then 3 days of work before we head back to Texass. Be so happy when I don’t have to go back...

Plenty. The three of us meet halfway between Massachusetts and Wyoming. Like, I don’t know, Wisconsin.
He gets reported missing, the family in Texas comes together, pleading for Kipp to be safely returned.

Their reunification and the power of prayer reconnects the family.

Or, you and Drafter kidnap the wimmins, tie them up on a room facing each other, and they stay that way until they forgive each other.

Maybe today. It would be a Good Friday to do it.
