Can someone explain to me why, in the auction listings, they show a picture of a box of cigars when the actual auction is for a single cigar?

Because the fine print clearly says they may do that? CYA and make sure to look at the written descriptions, not the pictures.

I always chalked it up to laziness with a dab of duplicity but got no proof of either.

He doesn’t want to admit it but Frankj1 does a lot of the photos so I would suggest sending him a pm with constructive suggestions.
