Here's what you'll get for "news"

So "those that locked onto the steering wheel grab story and running with it" is all of your mainstream media feeding the masses.
Top five from the goggle search and their click bait headline:
CNN - "Aide testifies she was told Trump lunged at Secret Service and steering wheel when told he couldn't go to Capitol."
The Hill - "Trump lunged at security detail, steering wheel to get to Capitol on Jan. 6, aide says."
NPR - "Former President Donald Trump lunged at his driver on Jan. 6."
Washington Post - "Trump wanted armed mob to march to Capitol, sought to join, aide says""
Shaw Local (whatever that is) - "Trump lunged for steering wheel, demanded to go to Capitol on Jan. 6: former aide testifies."
No need to filter out opinions from printed coverage etc. Your media is doing that for you. They are not printing or publishing unbiased news and facts for you to make your own decision on the story, they are feeding you what they want you to hear, see, and read.

"Propaganda is communication that is primarily used to influence or persuade an audience to further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is being presented."
I'm not a Trumpser, although many of you may have already shoved me into that mold, but it is clear that our mainstream media is extremely biased in what they chose to report and how they report it.
I can see why my post you responded to may not have been clear...
In my mind I was saying that posters HERE (I spelled it "hear", sorry) were lingering on that one part of her testimony relating to
her being told by other(s) about the alleged lunge, I was not thinking about mainstream/lib nor conservative media. Very little argument that both are likely saying what one would expect.
My main point should have been that the lunge thing was of very little importance in light of testimony relating to what may be attempts to over turn an election after being told the conspiracy-theories-without-evidence were false and may violate laws...
Several testifiers have indicated that they knew it was made clear and tried to stop Trump, Rudy, Eastman et al as a greater good than being part of it even though they were supporters of the former POTUS...country and Constitution over party/Trump.
I'm kind of avoiding any big dialog with folks who have not watched and are parroting right wing media. Ironic in that they are charging me with being told what I should have for an opinion!
Other readings or coverage I've seen/heard are the opinions of others, I may or may not end up siding with those opinions, but it's a waste of time endlessly discussing this with folks who decided not to watch but speak with authority.
