Secretly hoping it's to bury some of the crappy political ones that are becoming very annoyingly stupid.

Have him stop in and provide an update on Feet of Family and whether he is through that gauntlet.

All the family drama continues, unfortunately, but had a fantastic couple of hours herfing with Conan this afternoon. His hospitality was humbling, and the goody bag enormous.

Now a 30ish hour travel day from Honolulu to Atlanta to Puerta Vallarta. During which all the one ton chips and other treats will likely be consumed.

Prolly would have got a ticket. The 'Sip, 'Bama, and Florida got the smokey's all over da highways and the funkers like to hide in bushes or on the overpass. Saw 1 CHP on my way across San Diego and Imperial counties... 1 or 2 AZ, none in New Mexico and a handful in Texas. Some of them in unmarked pickup trucks!

Hate those. My brain's not trained to use caution when I see a pickup.

I also objected (silently to myself) when there was an unmarked Mustang and Charger in the area. You choose civil service, you don't get cool cars. Take your Crown Vic and move along

When I worked on the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado (where they do SEAL Team training) we had Jeep Cherokee 4x4's and ATV's so we could patrol the beach during hell week and keep the lookie loo's out of the area.

The ATV's did not last very long. Can't be giving young sailors cool toys like that. They do crazy sh*t like jump sand burms and stuff. Anxious

I've seen unmarked minivans in here in MA when I commuted to work. Apparently they sometimes use confiscated vehicles to patrol the roads during commuting hours.

I use to use a radar detector but I would get a lot of false positives. I concluded that it was from some cars that have those blind spot/collision detection systems that use radar so I ditched it. I generally would just keep with the flow of traffic. 80 mph in a 65 mph zone is not out of the ordinary and I don't remember ever getting a speeding ticket.

Did get pulled over once during the commute but just got a warning for an expired inspection sticker.

2 week vacation starts today. Fly out to Sconnie to visit the family on Wed.

Thanks!

Yes, my wife is right-handed and left-eye dominant and our younger son is left-handed and right-eye dominant.

It's best to learn to shoot with both eyes open, you actually can see better. For pistols it's easy to hold right-hand and use your left eye. For rifles, it's difficult without a special stock. My wife tried shooting left-handed but prefers to shoot right-handed so she wears an eye patch on her glasses, that covers here left eye. With your dominant eye covered, your other eye will take over. It doesn't take much, we started with a yellow sticky, but we found a simple cloth patch that works with glasses. There are flip-up cover shooting glasses and similar clip on devices.

Our son has it easier, he just shoots right-handed, pretty easy for most lefties.

Good Saturday Morning! It's 76° on the way to 90° today.

Speaking of odd cop cars, SC has some BMW and Volvo cop cars as well as various SUVs and pickup trucks.

Yup. Rolled up on a sleek, all black Mustang with plain old WI plates. Then I saw more spires coming out of the vehicle than a porcupine. It was the PoPo.

Try to keep both eyes open, seem to always end up low and left of the target. With the expense and rarity of ammo, I haven't shot more than a few rounds over the last three years, Certainly doesn't help my cause.

Should just carry my Judge. The blind couldn't miss.

Dog walked. The boy and gf aren't up yet.
Likely headed down to the Titletown district for some semi competitive shuffleboard and then some mexican food,
The sun is out. 63 now. Topping out at 80.

There is a guide for analyzing targets: https://georgia4h.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/grp-analysis.pdf

Low Left Placement

Possible Causes

1. Jerking: applies excessive pres- sure to trigger, pushing it down and to the left.

2. Canting the pistol to the left and dropping the barrel.

But, for left eye dominante it's reversed so try:

Low Right Placement

Possible Causes

1. Snatching the trigger, pulling it and the gun to the right.

2. Slackening the wrist while the pistol fires.

Wait, whoa... are you allowing them to share a bed? Ya know they're gonna do the dirty under your roof, right?

Dog sitting two dogs...

Thanks are fine until "food" is introduced...

My dog goes bonkers on the visiting dog...
It gets bad very quick...

I separate them big time at meal time but it can erupt over the water bowls too...
It's been the first 12 hours...got 6.5 more days of this B.S...
I hope my dog calms down by tomorrow...

Yep, same room. Replaced his single bed with a queen. A better bet when friends come here in the summer time when the humidity is too great in Florida.:-"

This is me folding a fitted sheet (pu$$y meme).

T-minus 4 days from wheels up en route to the homeland. Two teens and one half blind, half deaf, 90+ year old Polok* in tow.

* some snowflakes may take offense to this word but she's proud of her heritage and doesn't take offense of this slur as long as it's not meant in a derogatory fashion.
