I found this to be an excellent cigar. I purchased a box of these about a year ago and finally smoked one today. Definitely an excellent tobacco flavor, with few gentle undertones of flavor. If you enjoy real tobacco, this is an excellent cigar.

CI had a screamin' deal on the non-Melanio Oliva V Maduro back in December, during their twice-annual "10-pack plus $20 Bucks card" deals. If you lived close and got stuff next-day and did "recursive ordering" (using one order's bucks cards immediately to pay for the next order) and got in 3-4 rounds of that, the final net price per stick was crazy cheap. Ask me how I know!

I am good, but I gotta say, this sucker just made my top 5. I was pleasantly surprised by this cigar. Now I am tossing around having another one or letting them rest another year.

Whistle sent me some that had some time on them in his NSWG herf hookup when my buddies came to visit. I liked them a lot. ThumpUp

If you haven't tried the DOUBLE ROBUSTO vitolo from this series you are missing out! I keep several Serie V vitolos in my collection including the Lancero which is a real treat as well!

I got some of those melanio lancero seconds not long ago. I’ve had really good luck with oliva seconds. The melanio is really what got me smoking cigars. I’ve got some maduros around here somewhere some v maduro too
