Hey guys and gals!! What is your drink of choice when smoke a stogie? One can read many varied ideas on what best compliments a cigar. I personally enjoy a good beer, Red Stripe, with my cigars.

Hell, call me simple or what have you but a good ole' Michelob Light does it for me. If I feel a little spunky maybe a Harp for my import! Jack & Cola if your looking at a mixed drink.

Really depends on the cigar.....Corona is good, I like a Zinfandel or Cabernet Port often, but sometimes nothing matches up like a good strong cup of Joe!

Jack Daniels Old #7 either straight or mixed with unsweetened tea and a twist of lemon. As far as beer goes, I'm a Budweiser fan.

Bottled water, coffee, cherry coke (yes, that's right), Jack & Coke with lemon, I.W. Harper on rocks with a waterback, or a good ole Budweiser (any variety). Since I've been smoking more often now, I've cut back on the alcohol and stuck to water or coffee more often, I've come to find that a good cup of Medalia D'Oro complements my cigars rather nicely, and the water is the ONLY drink I'll have if I'm just starting to try out a cigar (the first 2) so I don't get any false reads on the taste. What a simple question, but a complex and run-on response, but I'm sure you've come to expect that from me :)

I ususally enjoy a good cup of coffee around midday or Old Grandad 114 Bourbon on the rocks at night. It complements just about any cigar.

A good strong cup of Joe is my favorite, followed by a large liter of ice cold water to wash my palate between puffs on my favorite stogie (just kidding folks about the washing thing, but I do like water).....Brent

Lately, maybe once a week, I've been enjoying milder cigars early in the morning before the family awakes. A nice fresh cup of coffee is perfect. Maybe it's my imagination, but cigars seem to taste better at that time of day. Coffee is always a top choice for me, especially in the morning (something about alcohol doesn't help my day start off right), but otherwise a brown ale, or something heavier, is my choice. I like Pete's Wicked Ale, Killian's Red, Shiner Bock, New Castle Brown Ale, tried a new one I like: Blackbeard Ale; Sam Smith's Taddy Porter for a heavier beer or (don't let the name scare you -- it's really smooth) Young's Double Chocolate Stout. Here's something a few of us "herfers" have done here locally: we get together, each bring a few different beers, and get to sample a variety.

Haven't seen anyone else mention it, so I'll have to. A good single malt scotch -- current favorite is Dalwhinnie, a light, but peaty highland malt. Don't care especially for beer; but, a good espresso with a cigar on a Sunday moring with the newspaper can't be beat!!! :)

Last couple of years it's been a mix of bourbon and coconut rum on ice.

Water most often. Coffee next most. Then an even sprinkling of rum, tequila, and beer

Bourbon And ginger ale. Don’t knock it till you try it

If I’m just having something to drink lemonade is my fav. Gotta be homemade. I don’t like artificial lemon. Or that little lemon shaped bottle that they claim is lemon juice.

For myself lemonade and cigars hit just right
