Do you use your empty cigar boxes for anything? In a early post rickamaven mentioned turning them into clocks. That is one of many uses I have found for them. They also make good presentation boxes for various items, such as wrist watches, pocket watches, arrow heads, firearms, and so on.

Hey, Rickamaven. How'd you make a clock? Sounds like a neat idea. If you can, please post a picture. What do I do with old boxes? I stack them proudly in my garage thinking one day I'll discover a great use for them. One serves as my travel humidor. Another serves to hold old cigar bands. Creative, huh!? Ideas anyone?

When I was a kid, I used to use them to store my marbles in. Now I use them for broken arrowheads and small collectibles. It's amazing how many people want my old cigar boxes, it's kind of ahrd fro me to part with some of them.

CL: I have no ability to post pictures, but if you email me your address, I'll send you a few poloriods with different clocks. I mounted a clock on a MI-CUBANA box and it serves as a pencil holder.

My kids use them to hold their Mardis Gras beads and play jewelry. Thats a good idea about using them for traveldors! I hadn't thought of that one.

Yea...they work really nice as free travelodors. I used some foam egg crate on the inside and screwed a humidification device inside. The egg crate stops the cigars for sliding around....works great, although I don't travel too much anymore.

I use them to hold bundled cigars(which I purchase far more frequently than boxed cigars).

I don't do much with my old boxes except store all of my cigar bands in one of them...My two favorite boxes I have are my 1) CAO L'Aniversaire Maduro Box Autographed by Cano A. Ozgener (CAO Owner)-See pics on Picture Board, and 2) my Partagas 150AA Box

I've done a few guitars, a kalimba (African thumb piano), and the storage thing. Cheno made me a nifty desk lamp out of a Street Tacos box. Also, I don't remember if it was Cheno or DG, or someone else entirely, but I recall word of a cigar box Bluetooth speaker going around

I figured out a marital scam with the boxes.

I told my wife that I would give them to the girls to use, but I should probably always give them each the same boxes so they don't fight over them. Blammo, buying two boxes at a time now!
