Flights to Las Vegas have at least tripled since
2019 and rooms are booked way way out....
Central PA to L.V. is way over $500
Used to be $299 round trip w/room discounts, food vouchers and gaming computer vouchers too...

Not anymore...

JetBlue and Spirit airlines recently setup at the Worcester, MA airport (they have been trying to get commercial flights in and out of there for years but it's mostly used for freight).

They do a shuttle type of flights to Orlando, Ft. Myers, Philly, NY and such. Rather inexpensive. I think a round trip flight to Orlando is a couple hundred bucks. Depending on my circumstance, I might be able to do a hit and a run FL herf.

Depending on the circumstances, I just might stay. Rumor has it that Macs and Robert have extra rooms for a flop house.

One after 109! (…I know, I know, that’s not the right number…)

Unfortunately I won’t be attending. Air and room rates are stoopid expen$ive. And other than our trip in 2002 to settle our daughter into her dorm, have always rented a car. Those rates are nutso too but probably coulda just Ubered around.

dayum...I was gonna ride with MACS and share some costs...but after he moved... and a couple of tours to Hawaii this year, my travel budget is busted...

Seeing Shawny-MACS new crib and surrounding area is a target for Q1 of 2023. Wife is as stoked for it as I am.
If that can be paired with a herf somewhere down there, all the better.

Kitchen remodel & furnace/ac replacement, instate vacation have us tapping out. Still need to recarpet the basement. That will be another couple grand.

Spring is more likely.

As far a# Q4s go, there is something I’ve wanted to do since the late 1980s. That is to experience The Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail party. Don’t need or really want to go to the annual Georgia Florida football game. Instead, want to people watch for a long weekend. The game is usually in October and is played in Jax.
