My fave broadcaster of all time, and it's not even close. I've listened to his Dodger broadcasts since I was a kid back in 1961, when I became a Dodgers fan. I remember taking a transistor radio to bed with me whenever the Dodgers were playing, and listening until Scully called the final out. He and the Dodgers baseball station were set on all the family's car radios. I've listened to and heard his voice more than any other person in my entire life, and it's not even close.
It's like the passing of a dear old friend...
