It’s baffling that there’s no drive to compete with peers or be competent in your own tasks much less understanding impact to others tasks. And the sensitivity……oh lurt.

If you see anything in the news today I may need an alibi.

Thanks DrafterX…..I can always count on you. Mellow

Al you’d be the only reason I’d consider a trip to SolCal.

Thanks LHD. You’re closest so you’ll be my first phone calll……

Marked “in a meeting” on Teams and people don’t get why I’m not answering, fourth person interrupts and cries because I “barked at them”. Funny nobody on the video conference said anything. I even walked across the whole building to them after asking what he needed. “Nothing”….then 20 mins later starts the crying. Jesus take the wheel.

I used to have more than a dozen women working in a group I managed, not always, but most of the time that crying act was a knife with a very sharp blade.

OTOH, this is Cbid so... Have I mentioned how much I enjoy being retired?

Our ladies (minus our new sales rep) don’t care about about anything except clocking out and checking their IG. They don’t cry like this dude though.

New sales rep is a trip, very young, very well meaning and honest and green. Man the hiring market is thin. At least she cares though. More than I can say for most everyone else.

you and me both, brother...most of my career was spent in supervision and management, mostly in the top seat of our department...herding cats...what made one person cry (not always a girl) made another the happiest person, ever...and there was a correlation

Our newer CS gal is old, and gets easily confused. When she gets into a state of confusion she laughs no matter the situation…..

I sent her an email with pictures last week to correct behavior that’s causing double work ripples down the line. She emails back “I didn’t see that”…….

**** it’s the line directly above yours and in the picture I provided I also highlighted the lines. I didn’t even know what to email back that wouldn’t get me into an HR meeting. I did discuss it with my boss and asked if he could order crayolas on our next Staples order.

In my old company, hiring, promotions and raises were being built on sexual preference and skin pigmentation.
Hence, the a Great Resignation.

It might not help today, when I had a cry face/timid guy I'd get one of our women employees to tell him, "Butch up for crying out loud! ", they loved doing it and it was usually effective.

Now I must say I'm no misogynist fool, we had some excellent women employees, many ways better than any male employee. Funny thing, most of them preferred not to work with other women.

The dude actually cried real tears... for real?

Or was it just pizzing and moaning...

If real tears were involved, then that's pretty epic... you don't see that every day (at least I don't).

Managed a department of 42 for 4 years. Herding cats is an apt discrimination. Took a lateral move to get some piece.

Love retirement!

Ben not real tears….bitching and moaning….he got back this afternoon and acted all friendly like nothing happened. I took the high road and smiled and left early after I told him he was working late.
