I have seen recently a spate of cigar auctions that kinda made me wonder about something.

Several boxes of cigar that were seemingly going to go for way less than retail were amazing bid up at the last minute. What gives here? Is someone from CigarBid jacking the bid up in hopes that the boxes or bundles WON'T go for way less than retail?

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

I've been a CB addict for months. before that have won cigars on ebay and just like any auction online or not most of the action naturally happens at the toward the close.

::beating a dead horse:: but since you're new, the people who jack up the prices are called LMB's (last minute bidders). Most of us have been one at one time or another. An LMB waits till the auction is about to close, then outbids the last bid to ensure a win in the auction. I don't suspect cigarbid of foul play, because I myself have been an LMB before.

SQUATTY, what's the deal? Take your skirt off. If anything my messages are as consistent as the Yankees winning World Series. As long as we keep abusing repetitive topics, guys like me will be there to remind you. Stop crying, you sound like my niece.

Jesus, relax guys. Forgive me for not seeing the light. I've only been posting here a short time so I didn't know this was a "dead horse" subject.

Snipers!

Keys to the castle: sniping is rarely going to get you the best deals. Bid early.

I ABSOLUTELY think there is some nefarious “biding” going on. Sure, there are and will be LMB’s, that’s how auctions work. “Yeeeeeuuuuup” comes to mind! But, there are often ones that are blown up by the same initials and town name very often. I wonder if they have been audited by an outside company? They could be in a lot of trouble if it occurs…

Yep……..7 hears………thats how long it takes for some folks to figure out my job…

I will not let anyone win a decent cigar for less than 64.35% of suggested retail.
Thats how I roll………..or should I say………thats how I get paid to roll.

Of course, Platinum Plus Members get a pass………and free shipping………and matches…
