Robert, I cannot change the link (the URL) only the title of the page, which I did, so maybe we shouldn't keep pointing the actual site out to CI/CBid...

Maybe. Maybe not.

My professional experience with people and businesses is that they tend to answer straightforward questions like mine when they understand why you are asking. But, I can see why what I asked concerned you. However, I don't think it's a problem, but will defer to your concern as no one else seemed willing to get involved.

Now, as to the link name, why cannot it be changed?

Couldn't BGZ figure it out- after all this type of stuff is how he makes a living?

I would have to re-create the set-up as a different message board with a new URL. Do-able, but we would lose what little content is there and users would have to re-sign-up for the new site.

What would that cost in $$ and time?

If, we can completely get away from their name (and something ever happens to this place), we shouldn't have any trouble with a different link.. I think that is far more important than a little bit of data lost on the existing back-up site because people can simply repost on a new one. What do you think?

That’s a really good price. I would take that. I couldn’t touch that with California wages plus I gotta pay off the unions, donate to the Newsom campaign, plus 10% to the Big Guy to get it approved.
