Really? That surprises you? Broads are good for cooking, cleaning and ...

Dads rule this world. It's why it's gone to sheit, recently. Today's dads are worried about fkn pronouns and stuff.

Good dads... like me... let their kids lose, and beat their asses when they did wrong. Hell, my son was born when I was 19 and that boy didn't beat me in any video game until he learned how to freakin' do it.

He's a hard working mofo, compassionate, trustworthy, responsible... and he has a bit of his mom in him, because he's a little empathetic. Tried to make sure he wasn't, but the broad spent more time with him. I deployed a lot.

I explained my contest philosophy to the boy a couple years back. If you beat me, you'll know it wasn't handed to you.

He says, "That explains all those times we played Chase."
I didn't recall playing anything called Chase. He explains, "I think it was supposed to be Tag, but all I did was chase you."

I didn't feel like I was "raising" my son. He and I enjoyed doing things together and we did a lot...hiking, fishing, biking, baseball, soccer, road-tripping to national parks...

then he found that he had his own identity, in high school...had a group of friends and went his own way, learning the guitar, playing volleyball and soccer at all-star high school level, going off to college, joining a frat, playing club volleyball since he couldn't make varsity, having fun, studying and graduating...

I got out of his way, as I thought he was making good decisions...we reconnected, doing stuff again after he graduated, until he found his future wife...we're still close and he and his family visit often and we do family outings every year

Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver got the nickname because Tony Dow had a hard time pronouncing Theodore. Sounded more like Tweeter or Beaver. One of the writers then commented there was a guy in the military he served with with the nickname Beaver. That combo made Beaver happen.

I have no source for this tidbit other than personal experience. It's not technically considered asrecently acquired knowledge nor backed by the ADA... but one method of getting out them popcorn corn husk kernel things that get stuck between your teeth...

Gummy Bears!

Guess you could do dental floss and a good teeth scrubbing but Gummy Bears are an untapped resource that can solve may problems.

Got a free suck in public today.
The guy in front of me at the gas station (tempted to stop here)…. left with time still on the vacuum. Was able to get the front floors both cleaned.

Ya open the bag and grab them with your fingers (much easier to do if you have an opposable thumb).

The Hinsdale N.H. post office turns 206 this year making it the oldest continously operating post office in America. It opened in 1816 in a corner of the town's general store and later took over the entire first floor.

Same here in MA, technically, but people still use them.

When I first moved out here back in the 90's I had a Packers frame on the plate. Had to do the annual safety/emissions inspection and the Richard head was going to reject my truck because it had a license plate frame. He took it off and tossed it in the trash so my truck would pass the inspection.

I think his name was Brandon so... "Frank you Brandon"

(OK I made up the last part but the first part is true)

They often obscure the yearly registration sticker tags and state of issuance, and sometimes have clear plate covers that are an attempt to thwart photo ticket cameras.

This is what I was told but I see them all the time. I'm sure it depends on how much of a dink the inspector dude is on that day.

Fat location matters.

You can be fat anywhere, but fat around the midsection of the body is the most unhealthy place to carry it.

I'm guessing license plate frames were invented by car dealerships for free advertising...just about every new car I see has a dealer frame around its plates...took me 8 years to change mine

Haven't had a dealer frame yet that's lasted the night the car came home. Had some decent deals, but none good enough to advertise for them. Though I have offered an advertising fee on 98.2% of the cars I've purchased

Not only that, I tell them not to put the dealer sticker or anything with their name on it.

Yeah, that can happen. They use to just cut them. Then in the first decade of the 2000 they started cutting and tying.

When did he get snipped?

In the past I always removed dealer plate surrounds and told them not to put their stickers or logos on my vehicles.

With our current dealership I leave the plate surrounds, an honest dealership is such a rarity they deserve promoting.

34% of Wisconsinites are obese. We are the 43rd fattest state in the country.

The fattest four are..
#47 North Dakota
#48 Arizona
#49 West Virginia
#50 New Mexico

Wisconsin makes sense. Meat, cheese, beer, duh.
North Dakota, you need extra fat to survive winter.
West Virginia. When there is a catastrophe there, is a slim, fit person ever on camera?

Don't get New Mexico, other than a poorer state with a lot of carb intake.

But..... Arizona? Have been there half a dozen plus times and I don't recall seeing more than a few handfuls of fatties.

Strange.

Zona folks, was I spending too much time on Mill Street in Tempe? Do the methheads in Kingman actually gain weight?

I can assure you, there's a lot of fat f*cks out here. Every time I go to Walmart, I have to check to make sure I didn't enter a bariatrics center.

Grocery stores? Fruit and veggie section always has lots of arm room, soda and chip section? Not so much.

If you see someone in a truck that's taller than Andre the Giant? They're probably a 4 x 4 (little fat man syndrome).

If you ever go out to the dunes... you be like, how tf beach whales get way tf out here?

There's no diving in swimming pools after lunch till the pool fills back up or the people get back in.

This is America, the most gluttonous country ever! And Arizona is one of the most American .. you can tell this by looking at all the XXX sleeves with an American flag on them...

Oh... if you dear reader are one of them, I know you think Under Armour is the good guy... they're not, you shouldn't buy their sh*t, they aren't what you think they are... stick with Nike or Adidas for your athletic wear needs... oh and never buy their shoes, their shoes are trash.

Knowledge recently Acquired: Cape Cod Cranberry Dry soda is pretty good (its a regional soft drink from Polar Beverages). Making a gallon of cranberry juice takes about 4,400 cranberries.

Knowledge not recently acquired
: WI produces more than half of the worlds cranberries.

"At 4.64 million barrels [in 2021], Wisconsin cranberry production blew the No. 2 state out of the water: Massachusetts with 2.055 million barrels."

https://www.jsonline.com/story/life/food/2021/09/14/fun-facts-cranberries-wisconsin-worlds-top-producer/5713336001/

Maybe we should retire the cheese head moniker and replace it with Cran Heads. Cranberry infused cheese... I think we have a thing here, just need some venture capitol money to get it the ball rolling.

I'd bet $1 per barrel that cranberry cheese is out there somewhere on the market. Considering I found Carolina Reaper cheese in WI a couple weeks ago, I figure you'll mix just about anything into a block
