Sniveling kneelers.

Boo-frickety-hoo!

Freak went to Russia to ball, like she's always done and because she's a supposed WBNA legend thought the rules and laws didn't apply to the Female LeBron James. Actually, he cries more than her but I digress...he even knows that Russia doesn't play when it comes to drugs.

Now, that she's finally been found guilty and sentenced President Potato will willingly trade the defacto murderer arms dealer of all-time for her. An athlete (I know its WNBA...but just go with it...I mean they believe men can get preggers and have abortions so...) with a penchant for getting high is going to be swapped for someone that Putin will put back into business the very next day he lands on Russian soil. They will make that deal. Me? I'd let female Lurch rot in the Russian prison system for kneeling and supporting a terrorist organization. Let the 10's of people that support the WNBA mourn the day their GOAT was convicted.

She’ll come out all tatted up like Nikolai in Eastern Promises. And I’m guessing they’ll be milking her for protection money so Olga and Helga don’t make her time harder than it needs to be.

And to her being treated harsher as a high profile American, are they trying to bring this American home too? Are they going to release Americans being held in American prisons for marijuana offenses?

“A United States citizen, teacher, and lecturer was slapped with 14 years of hard time in prison for a little bit of pot found in his luggage at an airport in Moscow, Russia.
It’s the latest move in a series of harsh sentences dished out on Americans in the country, including WNBA star Brittney Griner.

On August 14, 2021, Marc Hilliard Fogel, then 60, was arrested at Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow when half an ounce of weed (approximately 14 grams) in various forms was discovered in his luggage. Fogel was approved by a doctor in the United States for medical cannabis for chronic pain following a series of serious surgeries.

The Fogels had been teaching abroad in places including Russia for years, but they were used to less security at that airport during previous flights. Something went terribly wrong, and Fogel told his wife he’d packed 14 vape carts and put some flower in a contact lens case. He thought he could get away with stashing some in his luggage for his trip back to Russia after a trip in the U.S. The Fogels were heading back to Moscow to celebrate Marc’s 10th year of teaching the children of U.S. diplomats.

Russian police discovered the weed, and he immediately knew the country doesn’t play games when it comes to cannabis, especially when it’s a U.S. citizen. But Fogel assumed he’d be looking at deportation, or some other punishment—not hard time.

Fogel has already spent 11 months in various Russian detainment centers for his “crime.” But hearing the judge say “14 years” was a crushing moment for Fogel and his family, The Washington Post reports.

“There’s a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that Marc will be left behind,” Jane Fogel told The Washington Post. “It’s terrifying. I would hope that President Biden and especially first lady Jill Biden, who is an educator, realize the importance of including Marc in addition to Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan.”

You can’t help but make the connections to WNBA basketball star Brittney Griner, who is currently being detained for her “crime” of a couple of vape pens. Since Secretary of State Antony Blinken said there is a “substantial proposal” to free both Griner and another unjustly detained American, Paul Whelan, Fogel’s family has hope that he might not have to sit in prison for 14 years.

Fogel was fed things like bowls of gruel and dried apricots, depending on what Russian prison he was in.

“He says what he wants in English, someone translates for him, one of his cellmates, and depending on how good their English is is how accurate of a picture we get of what is happening,” Anne Fogel said. “It’s very convoluted and it’s incredibly worrisome because we can’t really have an honest conversation. Everything goes through the censors. It’s harrowing.”

But for Marc, he wasn’t happy to hear Griner might be released before himself. “That hurt,” Marc Fogel wrote in a letter. “Teachers are at least as important as ballers.”

Reality in Russia

President Vladimir Putin ramped up punishments for citizens and tourists alike including one particular new law that dishes out sentences of up to 15 years in prison for people who distribute “false news” about the Russian military. Russia has been accused of using prison sentences as a “tool for exercising control over society” by the Centre for Eastern Studies.

The Fogels are now calling to President Joe Biden to step in and get him out of Russian prison—just as efforts are being made to free Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan, CNN reports.

Ever since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, U.S.-Russian relations have obviously been strained, to say the least. It’s typical of Russia to rebrand normal U.S. citizens and athletes as drug pins, often allegedly with political motivations.

Nearly 5,000 people have already signed a petition on Change.org to free Marc Fogel from wrongful detainment in Russia.“

Dear Ms. Griner,

We hope this letter finds you in good health, and we understand you are having some rough times in your life.

We are a group of old Vietnam Combat Veterans from North Carolina. Our average age is around seventy years old. We call ourselves, The Bunker Boys. We spent a lot of time living in rat and snake infested holes in the ground known as Bunkers.

When we were not in the bunkers, we were crawling through the jungle being shot at. We must be honest and tell you that the only thing we may have in common with you is that we, too, were drafted. We noticed you were drafted number one in the WNBA draft a few years ago. Since we all were drafted, we thought we might let you know what it was like when we were drafted.

Unlike you, most of us had no college.
The people of the United States drafted us. We consisted of all colors, religions and personal beliefs. We had no choice of which team we played for: Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines.

We were sent halfway around the world to fight and kill people we didn’t know in a place we had never heard of. We were paid, we know you can relate to this,
$3.00 a day, and were required to work 24 hours a day if needed. When we returned home, many or most of us were treated very badly by our fellow Americans. We were spit on and hit by bottles and rocks as the police stood by and watched.

We did not complain, we just continued on in life and made the best of it.

We fought for God, family, country and of course, the Flag and the National Anthem, a poem that was written by, of all people, a lawyer. He wrote the poem/anthem as he watched bombs fall on and kill fellow Americans. Ever since that night, our nation has played that little poem before millions of social functions.

For some people, it’s just a little song.
For a Veteran, it is a reminder of how many men and women of all colors
have given their lives so the rest can have the right to be free.

We found in our research that you requested the National Anthem not be played at sporting events. We find it odd that now you are requesting the citizens of the United States to pay for your release from a jail in Russia. Yes, we the taxpayers are paying for all of those diplomats working on your release.

Our government told you, and all fellow Americans in Russia, to leave Russia after the invasion of the Ukraine. You play basketball in a country that is known to treat Americans badly. You fly a great deal and must know by now, all the rules of what one can bring into a country. All of us that travel know the rules for entering a foreign country.
You are a guest and must go by the rules of the land.

By your own admission, you were attempting to bring an illegal substance into a country that is known for its long prison sentences. You had to know this because you are making a million dollars a year to play a game and you hold a college degree.

At six feet nine inches tall, you know that security officers are going to focus on you from the moment you stand in the boarding pass line. We also noticed that you are now saying you placed the drugs in your luggage by accident.
Please, that is something an 18-year-old would say.

We also found out that your net worth is somewhere around $ 5 million bucks for playing a game. For old guys like us, living on a fixed income, that’s a lot of money for just playing a game. Don’t get us wrong; we are not against you.
We all went and fought so all Americans can have the freedom to make their own choices.

We just hope the next time you have to endure the playing of that little poem,
you will pay close attention to the “Land of the free,” part.

Wishing you the very best,
The Bunker Boys

I received the above via email from a golfing buddy that is a Nam Vet.
