The problem is I needed to pick paint now for the construction I’m paying for now. I could try to match the existing but it’s old enough that it won’t be perfect. Tried it before and it is noticeable. I could then come along in 3 months and repaint everything or go ahead and pick the final color and paint half under the current and half later. I went with that.
If the realtor has different colors for feng shui maybe I’ll still wind up painting it all again.
all of this comes out of profit.
I sold my last house (no broker) after a potential broker told me to change carpets, paint x amount of rooms and stuff.
I asked how much more would that net after spending 10K?
He said it would raise probable sale price by 5 to 7K.
Guess who didn't get a commish?
