5 Pack Bidding Question (Newbie)

When bidding on 5 packs, is the total price that I’ll end up paying the bidding price times 5?

For example, I bid $1, for one unit, of a 5 pack of Romeo y Julieta. If I win that bid, is the total cost $5 for that 5 pack? Or $1 for that entire 5 pack?

Just want to make sure I do not overbid or create unnecessary bidding wars.

If it’s listed as a 5 pack it’s a 5 pack.

If it’s a single, it’s a single.

If it’s a box, it’s a box.

If it looks like Snuffleupagus, it’s Frank1.

Shipping cost is a bi*** for 5 packs btw. Unless it’s an add on to an order or it’s a great price I wouldn’t bid.

Thanks for the info on shipping but regarding pricing that really didn’t answer my question. Still vague to me at least. New, trying to learn. Thanks for taking the time.

I thought me saying a 5 pack is a 5 pack……was pretty straight forward.

This is a 5 pack. If your bid wins, you win 5 cigars for what you bid on a 5 pack.

Make sense?

So if you bid $20 on this linked 5 pack and you WON. You would owe $20 plus whatever ridiculous shipping they charge is and you would get 5 cigars.

Maybe, maybe not...

OP, you are bidding on a "lot.". The lot may be a fiver pack, a ten pack, a box or a single cigar. Your bid is for the lot, the whole lot, and nothing but the lot.

The only exception is if you bid on CAO Brazilias. Then you get the lot plus an internet high five for awesomeness.

Bid high, bid often! Never lose a bid! Bid is for the description, if it says 5er your bid is for the whole 5er, if you bid on a box bid is for whole box. If you bid $5 on a 5er u pay $5 for all the Gurkha's listed

I was referring to the current shipping woes...

Doesn't matter what you bid on or win, you might or might not actually receive it!

Read the description!
Do not go by the picture!
Sometimes they will show a box, but are auctioning singles.

Never lose a bid.
Cbid keeps track of losing bidders, and once you have lost more than 10 bids, you get put on the “list”………….the losers list. Customers on that list are always served last, and typically have errors in their orders.

Dont be a loser….

No. When you bid on a 5 pack or a sampler, it is the same as bidding on a box.
The bid that you place is for the entire 5 pack, not each individual cigar.

No matter what you bid, pray that they get to order shipped and billed correctly because that long hold on the phone is the most costly part of dealing with The Bid. Does anybody have any idea how many transactions they process per day?

^That looks awesome (well what I could see before the pyawall), I had mine with Costco chicken...

I fried sliced garlic and fresh rosemany in olive oil (any fat works, though) until the garlic was brown but not burned. Then I strained the oil and kept the crunchy bits of garlic and rosemary.

I parboiled cut red potatoes, drained them and let them sit to get nice and starchy, then tossed them in the infused oil plus S+P and oven roasted them until they were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I then re-tossed them in a tiny bit of the leftover infused oils and the crunchy bits.
