When I first got into the trading / PIB’bing thing here, I used to gift these and another vitola. Then, I was gifted one and when I smoked it, had similar issues. Stopped buying them after that.

Got that one when I was visiting your island. Found it at a touristy convenience store kind of place with towels and sunscreen an aisle over. Only grabbed one due to cost and am now thankful for that.

I grab a couple of the Island Prince Laka (corona) Shade when I'm in Kauai...found that they smoke better and taste better on the island...prefer the Shade/light to the Sun/dark...the thinner ring gauge Laka (42rg) seems to have stronger flavor than the Momona (50rg), imho...originally an all local production, but US regs made the owner decide to only grow the wrapper leaves in Kauai...all the rest is done in Nicaragua
