I heard somebody's Puerto Rican President yesterday on TV.
Among Joey B's relentless pandering and promises of pallets of stolen loot in his speech in Puerto Rico yesterday he made a claim that's been getting him mocked in the media...

Joe Biden Was Really Sort of Raised in the Puerto Rican Community

By M Dowling -October 3, 20223

Quote:
Joe Biden visited Puerto Rico today in the aftermath of the hurricane and promised them millions of dollars. To line the pot, he told them he was sort of raised in a Puerto Rican community. That’s as true as Elizabeth Warren growing up Native American.

Biden made some absurd pandering statements and others that didn’t make sense.

At least we know Jill is very familiar with Hispanic culture. She knows all about “bo-ge-das” and tacos. We all remember her telling a Hispanic group, si, si, pwodway.

“Joe Biden was raised in the Puerto Rican community (total lie), went to synagogue more than Jews (he didn’t), graduated at the top of his class (76th out of 85 people) with 3 degrees (actually 1) on a scholarship (no scholarship) and Hunter Biden’s the smartest guy he knows,” Robby Starbuck wrote on Twitter.

That about says it all.

Biden Administration’s Manipulated Energy Policy Demonstrates Ignorance of History

We could end up being heavily dependent on China, which of course, like Russia, would absolutely use energy policy for leverage.

Consumed, as they have been, with the work of pushing revisionist woke ideology in the schools, it seems the Left missed the lesson that those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it. They’ve learned nothing from the past, not even the recent past.

Yet here we are, looking at the possibility we could repeat the same mistakes Europe made in the late 90s and early 2000s when they failed to realize the real motivations behind the green energy propaganda they were being spoon fed as truth.

Back in the early 2000s, Russia did a phenomenal job with a disinformation campaign pushing anti-fracking in Europe. We know this because NATO admitted that this “green energy” advocacy was funded by the very people who stood to gain from the enacted policies: Anders Fogh Rasmussen, secretary-general of the North American Treaty Organization (NATO) announced in 2014 that “I have met with allies who can report that Russia, as part of their sophisticated information and disinformation operations, engaged actively with so-called non-government organizations—environmental organizations working against shale gas—to maintain European dependence on imported Russian [natural] gas.”

The result was many European nations, like Germany, buying environmental propaganda—hook, line, and sinker—and committing to a fool’s errand of net zero and renewables. Since 2000, Germany will have spent several decades and almost $600 billion on what they have termed Energiewende, which is a complete and utter failure on every front.

Now the Germans, and other Europeans, are heavily dependent on Russian fossil fuels that are being used as a weapon against them. With winter quickly approaching, it’s guaranteed they’re not laughing anymore at Trump’s warnings about being dependent on Russian energy. They are, in fact, staring at the horrifying results of being played by Putin when they could have been energy independent if only they had made the right decisions just a few decades ago. But they didn’t and here they are being hit upside the head by the 2×4 of reality.

Now fast forward to today as we consider the recent past and the miserable lies of “green energy” and “man-made global warming.” It was reported recently that,

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), a major U.S. green group that has influenced Biden administration policymaking, has deep ties to the Chinese government. The NRDC . . . with total assets exceeding $450 million, has worked on climate issues extensively in China since the mid-1990s and several of its top officials have worked for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or government-sponsored institutions. The NRDC maintains a close working relationship with President Biden’s administration. The NRDC’s former president, Gina McCarthy, served as Biden’s climate czar up from January 2021 until earlier this month.

So here’s a group with very close ties to the Chinese Communists, and probably funding from the ChiComs, that is pushing the idiotic green policy that has failed so spectacularly in Germany. Why? As I have said many times, if you want things in DC to make sense, just follow the money.

Where are two-thirds of solar panels made today? China. Where will 101 of the 136 electric vehicle battery factories be located by 2029? If you guessed China again, you would be correct.

A lot of the Biden Administration’s energy policy is influenced by a group with close ties to the ChiComs who would stand to benefit financially from a green energy policy. That’s bad enough, but let’s think ahead a bit. As Russia is currently using energy policy in Europe as a weapon, what happens, God forbid, if America goes down this path? It’s obvious from Germany that “renewables” could never actually meet the energy needs of an advanced economy. But beyond that: the supplies necessary for “renewables” and electric vehicles are made in, primarily, China. We would end up being heavily dependent on China, which of course, like Russia, would absolutely use energy policy for leverage.

This is all idiocy, a boondoggle with serious national security implications and and the infantile Left is falling for it, again. They are dangerous fools, intent apparently on bringing this country to its knees and making it subservient on the international stage to nations that hate us. Again those who don’t know their history are doomed to repeat it and yet here we go again.

Lies falling faster than Walmart raising prices!

White House Panics As Gasoline Prices Rebound, Mulls Export Ban, Blasts OPEC+ "Hostile Acts"

OPEC+ could be on the verge of one of the largest production cuts in two years, a move White House officials would undoubtedly have a 'panic attack' as they attempt to dissuade the 23 crude-producing countries and its allies, such as Russia, from making the cuts.

OPEC+ is considering cutting 2 million barrels a day, and on the smaller side, a reduction of 1-1.5 million barrels a day, delegates said. Such a move would be a blow to Washington as the Biden administration has scrambled to unleash record amounts of crude from the strategic petroleum reserve to tame soaring crude prices this summer.

"Higher oil prices, if driven by sizeable production cuts, would likely irritate the Biden administration ahead of US midterm elections," Citi strategists wrote in a note.

Citi strategists appear correct: CNN obtained some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department this week and called the prospect of a production cut a "total disaster" and "hostile act."

"There could be further political reactions from the US, including additional releases of strategic stocks," the strategists added. They said the Biden administration could also push forward with an anti-trust bill targeting OPEC.

But that's not all. According to Bloomberg, White House officials are discussing possible export bans on gasoline, diesel, and other refined petroleum with the Energy Department.

People familiar with discussions said administration officials are discussing export bans of refined products with top oil industry leaders as the risk of an OPEC+ reduction could catapult fuel pump prices higher ahead of the midterm elections in November.

And given the resurgence in crude and wholesale gasoline prices, regular pump prices are set to soar again...

Another person said the Energy Department is analyzing the economics of an export ban. Bloomberg said both people familiar with talks asked not to be identified because discussions are still private.

Despite Biden's SPR drain, hitting levels not seen since 1984, the export ban could be the most controversial move yet by the desperate administration to tame pump prices ahead of the midterm elections next month.

Biden's political emptying of the SPR has left it with a record low of just 22 days of supply...

Top oil execs and industry experts have blasted the proposed export ban, saying it could backfire and result in even higher gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel prices, while throwing energy markets into turmoil in Europe ahead of winter.

In a letter to the Energy Department, Exxon's CEO Darren Woods wrote last week that "continuing current Gulf Coast exports is essential to efficiently rebalance markets—particularly with diverted Russian supplies."

"Reducing global supply by limiting US exports to build region-specific inventory will only aggravate the global supply shortfall," Woods said.

On Tuesday, the American Petroleum Institute warned any attempt to ban exports will disrupt not just global markets but harm US national security and geopolitical standing. API continued:

Banning or limiting the export of refined products would likely decrease inventory levels, reduce domestic refining capacity, put upward pressure on consumer fuel prices, and alienate US allies during a time of war. For these reasons, we urge the Biden administration to take this option off the table and focus instead on working with us on policies that will strengthen US energy security and protect consumers.

API outlined the major points from a July study via the American Council for Capital Formation about the economic impacts of a potential export ban of refined products:

1. An export ban could result in the shuttering of an estimated 1.3 million barrels per day of US refining capacity (7% of US total) due to trapped refinery production in the Gulf Coast. The loss of this capacity would likely strand a surplus of crude oil in the Central United States, halting important upstream energy production.

2. An export ban could result in higher product prices for US fuel consumers, with more than two-thirds likely to experience price increases of more than 15 cents per gallon for gasoline and 45 cents per gallon for distillates.

3. An export ban could cause a net loss to US GDP of more than $44 billion in 2023.

4. An export ban could eliminate 85,000 jobs this year and 35,000 job losses during 2023.

"There simply is not sufficient pipeline connectivity or the range of economic shipping alternatives that would be required to transport significantly more fuel to the East Coast from refineries in the Gulf, API continued, adding, "Banning exports of fuel from the United States will not eliminate this challenge or make it easier and more affordable to supply American-refined fuel to the East Coast. Instead, by cutting into global fuel supplies, it would likely raise the cost of fuel imported into the East Coast from the global market."

So Brandon shuttered US oil production on day one in office to ensure the US was energy DEPENDANT on imports. I guess Putin thought that was a brilliant strategy and blew up his own pipeline (assuming you believe the mouth-breathers in Washtington). jester

They're forcing President Diapers into a game of chicken. Drain ALL your strategic petroleum reserves that were filled with historic lows just to make the stupid pay less at the pumps in the run up to a historic Election of Repudiation. When it comes time to refill the SPR it will be at historic highs. He really thinks he's doing something valid when all he's doing is making America weak...again. This is what the DNC always do. Everytime they're in any position of power they go to great lengths to badmouth America to it's allies and the world as well as it's citizenry and it's foes all pay attention and gleefully take advantage of this weakness. All in a ruse to make people feel like his actions are reducing the price at the pumps, it's almost treasonous. Not many really see it for what it is and claim that we've turned a corner. It's all lies. To make matters worse, OPEC+ is now reducing the amount it's willing to pull out of the ground in a classic Supply vs Demand price gouging that once again enriches them.

"The President is disappointed by the shortsighted decision by OPEC+ to cut production quotas while the global economy is dealing with the continued negative impact of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. At a time when maintaining a global supply of energy is of paramount importance, this decision will have the most negative impact on low'er- and middle-income countries that are already reeling from elevated energy prices.

The President's work here at home, and with allies around the world, has helped to bring dowm U.S. gas prices: since the beginning of the summer, gas prices are down $1.20 - and the most common price at gas stations today is $3.29/gallon. At the President’s direction, the Department of Energy will deliver another 10 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to the market next month, continuing the historic releases the President ordered in March.

The President will continue to direct SPR releases as appropriate to protect American consumers and promote energy security, and he is directing the Secretar)' of Energy to explore any additional responsible actions to continue increasing domestic production in the immediate term. The President is also calling on U.S. energy companies to keep bringing pump prices down by closing the historically large gap between wholesale and retail gas prices — so that American consumers are paying less at the pump.

In light of today’s action, the Biden Administration will also consult with Congress on additional tools and authorities to reduce OPEC's control over energy prices.

Finally, today’s announcement is a reminder of why it is so critical that the United States reduce its reliance on foreign sources of fossil fuels. With the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the U.S. is nowr poised to make the most significant investment ever in accelerating the clean energy transition while increasing energy security, by increasing our reliance on American-made and American-produced clean energy and energy technologies."

Never mind the fact that this was the quietest hurricane season since 2005. This was the only named storm to make landfall in the lower 48 this year. Horrific as it was and the cleanup is still underway, we must always remember that Lefty will go out of their way to make up nonsensical beliefs based on feelings rather than fact and parade them around like they invented toilet paper.

Biden’s Comments About Climate Change Show He’s Out Of Step With Florida’s Hurricane Response

While visiting Florida to survey the damage done by Hurricane Ian, President Joe Biden once again reminded the country of his ineptitude.

Rather than focus on the plights of suffering Floridians during a Wednesday press conference with Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, Biden went out of his way to advance his party’s statist agenda by falsely asserting that the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian was a result of climate change.

“I think the one thing [Hurricane Ian] has finally ended is the discussion about whether or not there’s climate change, and we should do something about it,” he said, while bizarrely claiming that DeSantis has “recognized this thing called global warming.”

https://tinyurl.com/22uyfzdb

Continuing in his nonsensical diatribe, Biden couldn’t help but try to compare a small kitchen fire at his residence in 2004 to the countless homes destroyed in the wake of Hurricane Ian.

“I know from experience how much anxiety and fear [and] concern there are in the people,” he said. “We didn’t lose our whole home, but lighting struck, and we lost an awful lot of it about 15 years ago.”

https://tinyurl.com/2p99yn8a

Now, as conservatives, we could feign outrage and pretend to be upset. We could quote angry little Swedish girls, wave our fists in the air, and shout, “How dare you, Mr. President!” But at the end of the day, can we really say we’re all that surprised by the idiocy and insensitivity Biden displayed?

Throughout his career, Biden has always been a pompous, good-for-nothing hack who has spent more time in Washington denigrating those far more successful than him in the name of politics than actually catering to the needs of the American people. Just look at his time on the Senate Judiciary Committee, when he used his position as committee chair to slander and demean stand-up public servants such as Robert Bork and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Even before his last remaining brain cells began malfunctioning in recent years, the then-vice president told a mostly black audience during the 2012 presidential campaign that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and Republicans wanted to put them “back in chains.” And who could forget Biden’s more recent comments from earlier this year comparing Republicans opposed to his radical agenda to segregationists?

No matter how hard legacy media tries to paint him as a gentle old man, they can’t hide the fact that Biden has always been a callous blowhard who wouldn’t make it in the real world if he tried and will always use every available tragedy to advance his own career. Just like so many of his elitist Washington-based counterparts, Biden will always place politics above everything else, even as the people he’s supposed to represent continue to suffer under his disastrous and incompetent leadership.

Nobody fu(ks with a Biden???

The Fox News anchors had their way with him! I was LMMFAO! They're not wrong on any points either!

They missed the best FY to the face. Pedo Joe can say nobody screws with a Biden...then the Gaffe Machine brings his little Presidential podium down to Florida and lets a REAL LEADER stand behind it addressing the media. I caught it. The 1:23 mark of the vid does too. Stop it, put it on freeze...stare at it. Someday...that man...will be not only standing behind that podium alone, but sitting behind the Resolute Desk as well.

Nobody Fu(ks With A Biden?

Gov. Ron DeSantis did, you blithering idiot. Right in front of you...and the nation! You were played as the jerk you really are. Come down here with your taxpayer money to make it rain...do your photo op and claim it was Climate Change that manufactured Hurricane Ian that damaged the state that poked you in the ass over your Covid mandates. Hot miked stating your backhanded threats to the mayor of a devastated Ft. Myers. They both had a good laugh but you tell me if that was the appropriate time and place to show the "real" Lunchbox Joe? Ground Zero for a natural disaster, death toll climbing, lives and business ruined...the carnage mere feet from where you want to show the World your ass.

EVERYONE FU(KS WITH BIDEN! Everyone is above his diminished capacity. Even 40 years ago he was a lying racist dullard. Hey, Lefty put this on the nation though.

Judicial Watch Uncovers Biden Administration Propaganda Plan to Push COVID Vaccine

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it received 249 pages of records from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) detailing the extensive media plans for a propaganda campaign to push the COVID-19 vaccine.

The records were received in in response to an August 2021 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)lawsuit filed after HHS failed to respond to a April 19, 2021 request for records related to the Biden HHS’ “COVID-19 Community Corps” program (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:22-cv-02315)).

Judicial Watch is asking for all records regarding the application process; all organizations asking to be chosen to participate; all grants; and all communications of representatives of the Department of Health and Human Services regarding the program.

PGS 30- 34 The newly released records include a document titled “PEC [Public Education Campaign] Plan April 19 -May 31 [2021],” which includes the following media plans and action items:

Major [Public Education] Projects in April

Vaccine engagement package to all entertainment talent and management agencies
Vaccine engagement package to all media companies and show producers

Request that Tom Brady create a video with his parents encouraging vaccination (his parents had COVID last year and he has talked about their tough recovery).
Create custom partnerships with the social media platforms with algorithms to hit the audience.
Launch Hollywood comedy writers video content.

***

Work with YouTube on an original special about vaccinations targeted to young people (similar to the YouTube’s Dear Call of 2020 special).
Work with Instagram to produce a series about vaccines for @Instagram (the largest social media account in the world, 387 million followers). Feature young creators doing in-depth pieces about young people’s questions. Request a Stories Highlight on Vaccines on @Instagram to stay on the account through 2021.
Request major TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram influences to create videos of themselves being vaccinated and start a special campaign of funny and/or musical videos about being vaccinate to encourage others to create content and post.

Earned Media

Request a vaccination special on Christian Broadcast Network featur[ing] Evangelical leaders.
Request that the major live TV entertainment shows feature hosts being vaccinated on air (ex: the hosts of The Voice).
Request that the TV morning and daytime talk shows feature special vaccination reunion moments with everyday Americans talking about what this means to them (ex: hugging grandma for the first time).
Convene an editorial meeting with the publishers of Catholic newspapers and newsletters across the country (ex: America Magazine, Florida Catholic, The Catholic Spirit, The Tablet).
Dr. Biden interview with Chip and Joanna Gaines for Magnolia.
Request vaccination specials with BET, The Undefeated, Desus & Mero, Sneaker Shopper. Hot Ones.
Request a vaccination special With Christian Broadcasting Netflix and Evangelical leaders.
Place a trusted messenger on the Joe Rogan Show and Barstool Sports to promote vaccination (work with outside expert to identify who will be most effective).

Partnerships

Work with the NFL, NASCAR, MLB, CMA to request they create content with their talent and release through their broadcast and social channels. Also create a Share the Mic program where the talent elevates public health voices.
Work with all major sports leagues to send vaccination information to ticket holders
Work with ESPN for hosts to provide vaccination information.
Partner with Disneyland Parks for vaccination events when the amusement parks reopen.
Work with the Hollywood guilds to work vaccination messaging into scriped and reality TV shows (ex: Writers Guild, Directors Guild.)

“These records show a disturbing and massive campaign by the Biden administration to propagandize and politicize the controversial COVID vaccine,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It seems as if the entire entertainment industry was an agent for the government!”

Through FOIA, Judicial Watch has uncovered a substantial amount of information about COVID-19 issues:

Recently, NIH records revealed an FBI “inquiry” into the NIH’s controversial bat coronavirus grant tied to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The records also show National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) officials were concerned about “gain-of-function” research in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2016. The Fauci agency was also concerned about EcoHealth Alliance’s lack of compliance with reporting rules and use of gain-of-function research in the NIH-funded research involving bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, China.

HHS records revealed that from 2014 to 2019, $826,277 was given to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research by the NIAID.

NIAID records showed that it gave nine China-related grants to EcoHealth Alliance to research coronavirus emergence in bats and was the NIH’s top issuer of grants to the Wuhan lab itself. The records also included an email from the vice director of the Wuhan Lab asking an NIH official for help finding disinfectants for decontamination of airtight suits and indoor surfaces.

HHS records included an “urgent for Dr. Fauci ” email chain, citing ties between the Wuhan lab and the taxpayer-funded EcoHealth Alliance. The government emails also reported that the foundation of U.S. billionaire Bill Gates worked closely with the Chinese government to pave the way for Chinese-produced medications to be sold outside China and help “raise China’s voice of governance by placing representatives from China on important international counsels as high level commitment from China.”

HHS records included a grant application for research involving the coronavirus that appears to describe “gain-of-function” research involving RNA extractions from bats, experiments on viruses, attempts to develop a chimeric virus and efforts to genetically manipulate the full-length bat SARSr-CoV WIV1 strain molecular clone.

HHS records showed the State Department and NIAID knew immediately in January 2020 that China was withholding COVID data, which was hindering risk assessment and response by public health officials.

University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) records show the former director of the Galveston National Laboratory at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Dr. James W. Le Duc warned Chinese researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology of potential investigations into the COVID issue by Congress.

HHS records regarding biodistribution studies and related data for the COVID-19 vaccines show a key component of the vaccines developed by Pfizer/BioNTech, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), were found outside the injection site, mainly the liver, adrenal glands, spleen and ovaries of test animals, eight to 48 hours after injection.
Records from the Federal Select Agent Program (FSAP) reveal safety lapses and violations at U.S. biosafety laboratories that conduct research on dangerous agents and toxins.

HHS records include emails between National Institutes of Health (NIH) then-Director Francis Collins and Anthony Fauci, the director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), about hydroxychloroquine and COVID-19.

HHS records show that NIH officials tailored confidentiality forms to China’s terms and that the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted an unreleased, “strictly confidential” COVID-19 epidemiological analysis in January 2020.

Fauci emails include his approval of a press release supportive of China’s response to the 2019 novel coronavirus.

Biden administration urged Saudi Arabia to wait until after the midterms to cut oil production - and warned rejecting the offer would be a clear sign of siding with Russia, report claims

The Biden administration weighed in with Saudi Arabia and other OPEC+ members urging them to hold off for another month before announcing oil production cuts – a move that would have delayed the stunning announcement until after the mid-term elections.

The administration framed its objections to the production cuts as boosting Russian President Vladimir Putin's brutal war in Ukraine.

But according to the Wall Street Journal, the Saudis rejected the admonitions, viewing the administration's objections as a 'political gambit by the Biden administration to avoid bad news.'

The administration also raised the issue with other Gulf producers, according to the report.

The cartel, which controls about 30 per cent of the world's oil supply, went ahead with the production cuts – which have the effect of maintaining high prices that help Putin continue to fund his war, while also delivering a spate of bad news headlines for Biden.

Gas prices and inflation are a top election issue, and Biden has called taming inflation his top priority.
The White House urged Saudia Arabia and Gulf allies to delay production cuts by a month, according to a new report. President Joe Biden is re-evaluating the U.S. relationship with Saudi Arabia after OPEC+ announced last week it would cut oil production, White House national security spokesman John Kirby said on Tuesday. The look was compounded by Biden's decision this summer to visit Saudi Arabia, and even give a fist-bump to Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

The White House pushed back on the claim of arguments geared to November, which the paper attributed to people familiar with the talks.

'It's categorically false to connect this to U.S. elections,' said National Security Council Spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said. 'It's about the impact of this shortsighted decision to the global economy.'

At one point Joe Biden started talking about green energy and climate change. Energy prices has soared under Joe Biden and Democrats. They believe it is a good thing to punish the working class.

Joe Biden started blubbering about billions, millions, trillions on some spending fiasco.

Of course, Jake Tapper did not follow up on anything no matter how stupid or dishonest it was.

President Joe Biden invoked the memory of his late son Beau Biden Wednesday while declaring the Camp Hale Continental Divide a national monument but said the former Delaware attorney general and military reservist "lost his life in Iraq."

Prior to his death, Biden's eldest son served as a reservist in the Delaware Army National Guard and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in Iraq. Beau died in 2015 following a battle with aggressive brain cancer believed to have been caused by exposure to toxic burn pits while serving overseas.

I believe I've got a handle on why our nation is in the shape it's in now. President Alzheimer is a huge fan of Pres. Carter. So...when he's saying we have to Build Back Better...he's taking the nation back to late 70's early 80's.

"Horrible"... "Brutal"..."A Disaster For Democrats": A Shocked Wall Street Reacts To Today's CPI Nuclear Bomb

For all the talk of the world being on the verge of nuclear war courtesy of the dementia patient in the White House, a real life financial nuke just went off at 8:30am when the BLS reported a shocking CPI print so unexpectedly hot ( a 2.9-sigma upside surprise to consensus), that even the bears were shocked. The result was... well, an absolute disaster doesn't even begin to cut it.

And as one would expect, alongside the shock and awe there was a barrage of delightful soundbite to go along with Wall Street's reaction. Below we have summarized some of them:

Andrew Brenner, head of international fixed-income at NatAlliance Securities.

“Horrible CPI number... what will the Fed to do on interest rates: Will they go 100 basis?”

Jim Caron. Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

"It is brutal... I do think that prices will start to moderate -- I thought that this would already be happening at this point,” he tells Bloomberg TV. The issue now is that inflation has moved from the goods sector and has permeated into the services sector."

Chris Antsey, Bloomberg senior editor

"For Democrats, this is a disaster. Today’s is the final CPI report ahead of the Nov. 8 midterm election. You can bet that Republicans will be hitting this hard -- worst inflation in four decades."

Nick Timraous, Fed mouthpiece at the WSJ

For the Fed, the September CPI report seals the case for a fourth consecutive 75-basis-point hike. It calls into question the modal outlook from three weeks ago—that the Fed might be able to stop raising rates after 50 bps in December and 25 in February

Dennis DeBusschere, founder of 22V Research,

"This was clearly a bad number. It’s just broad-based inflation. Is what it is.... Need much more goods disinflation to offset the high sticky parts of core.”

Seth Carpenter, chief global economist at Morgan Stanley,

"That this was clearly a shock for markets. If ever there’s a time for people who do economic forecasting to be humbled, this is it.”

Steve Chiavarone, senior portfolio manager at Federated Hermes:

“This report raises the risk that we may see a new cycle high in headline inflation before the end of the year. With energy prices moving back up, a mid-90s oil price in December could see us surpass the 9.1% headline peak from June... Looking at the components, what is most worrying is the big jump in services. Service inflation is the most sticky. This is where both shelter prices and wages reign supreme.”

Mona Mahajan, senior investment strategist at Edward Jones:

"This print not only poses a challenge for the Fed but also the broader economy. Inflation was supposed to be moderating but instead we got a print that moved in the wrong direction."

Michael Pearce, senior US economist at Capital Economics:

“There are still clear signs of disinflation everywhere else we look. The drop in used auto prices should continue to feed through, the survey evidence points to weakening price pressures, and the private sector measures of new rents point to an eventual sharp moderation in shelter inflation too – although that wont feed through in earnest until H1 2023.”

Angelo Manolatos, US and Canada interest rate strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence, calls today’s report “clearly a core-services story:”

“But it’s not just rent. Core services excluding rents is growing at over 6.5% year-over-year. With no rent relief on the horizon, core services price gains will continue to underpin core inflation.”

Ira Jersey, chief rates strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence:

“It’s difficult to see the 10-year yield not break 4% today on this CPI report. The yield curve may continue to flatten and retest recent lows as the market will likely price for an even more aggressive Fed terminal interest rate.”

Anna Wong, Chief US Economist for Bloomberg Economics, says:

“The September CPI print is not good -- and even so, the subdued monthly headline rate likely marks the best inflation news we’ll get for a while. With gasoline prices rising again since OPEC+ announced cuts, and core services inflation still robust, the upside surprise in today’s print -- plus the unfavorable prints expected in coming months -- will make it difficult for the Fed to communicate a downshift in the pace of rate hikes in December, as policy makers indicated in the latest dot plot.”

Mohamed El-Erian

"Once again, hotter than expected US inflation numbers for both the core and headline measures… and, therefore, bad news for the Federal Reserve and markets and, more importantly, the economy and especially the most vulnerable segments of society."

Priya Misra, global head of rates strategy at TD Securities:

“Stronger report on headline and core so the market move makes sense. The market pricing for the terminal rate was 4.66% before the report, now at 4.7% and this can keep nudging higher. We are looking for 5% terminal (effective of 4.83%).

Oscar Munoz, US Macro strategist at TD Securities:

“I do not think this changes much for the Fed, just that it lowers the idea of a Fed pivot. They’re likely to continue hiking at large 75bp clip in November, and increases the risk of another 75bp for December. Though we’re of the view that they will do 50bp. As they get further into restrictive policy territory, they will become less hawkish in terms of the pace of rate increases given they have hiked so much this past year and rising concerns about financial stability.”

And now we sit back and wait for something to break.

Get ready for the election games...AGAIN!

Federal Government Extends COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

Authored by Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times,

The federal government on Thursday extended its COVID-19 emergency for another 90 days despite President Joe Biden declaring the pandemic “over” weeks earlier.

U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra confirmed the extension of the emergency in announcement posted on its website. No other details were provided.

He said that “a public health emergency exists and has existed since January 27, 2020, nationwide,” and it will continue to remain in effect.

The public health emergency, first declared in January 2020 and renewed every 90 days since, has dramatically changed how health services are delivered.

The declaration enabled for the emergency authorization of COVID-19 vaccines, testing, and treatments. It also expanded Medicaid coverage to millions of people, many of whom will risk losing that coverage once the emergency ends, and it temporarily opened up telehealth access for Medicare recipients, enabling doctors to collect the same rates for those visits and encouraging health networks to adopt telehealth technology.

Some Republicans have called on the White House to rescind the public emergency, while Biden and Democrats have asked Congress to pass more COVID-19-related spending bills.

However, COVID-19 has largely faded from the public eye as government-reported deaths and case numbers have plummeted in recent months.

During a September interview, Biden declared that the “pandemic is over,” which prompted White House officials to scramble to try and re-frame what the president had said.

Immediately after he made that comment, unnamed administration officials told the Washington Post that his remark would now make it harder to push COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots. It came on the heels of approvals signed off by the Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on updated booster vaccine doses made by Pfizer and Moderna.

White House adviser Anthony Fauci, claimed the president’s remark was “problematic” because, according to him people would interpret it as it’s completely over and we’re done for good, which is not the case … no doubt about that.”

The White House has said it would provide 60 days notice before it ends the public health emergency.

Along with suspending travel from China and other places, former President Donald Trump had declared a national COVID-19 emergency in early 2020 to free up some $50 billion in federal aid. That came weeks after reports of the virus emerged in mainland China as the first cases were being detected in the United States.

Lefty strategies are going off the rails.

They are desperately trying to keep the COVID fear-mongering going because nobody cares anymore about the so-called vaccine that they have stockpiles of.

They want to subpoena Trump to increase the viewership ratings because nobody is watching that Jan 6 chitshow anymore, except Brewha ALLegeDlY.

D.C. Comics is canceling Superman's bisexual teenage son comic book because nobody wants to read about his WOKE adventures, like kissing his ghey lover Jay Nakamura, fighting climate change deniers and rescuing undocumented migrants.

Emergency Use Authorization requires an emergency.

In California we cannot lift our Covid state of emergency because too many emergency power decrees would be immediately cancelled and the legislature would need to exist again.

We will declare a climate change state of emergency soon and that will never be lifted.

How dare Biden lecture world leaders on how to run an economy, given how badly he’s run America

“The economy is strong as hell!” a smug President Biden exclaimed jubilantly on Saturday as he gobbled a large chocolate chip ice cream.

The mind-boggling irony of this absurdly disingenuous statement wouldn’t have been lost on America’s ice cream vendors, who are suffering a terrible year as the price of making it has soared by 13%, driven largely by higher milk costs caused by higher dairy farming costs.

And what’s behind those higher dairy farming costs?

Inflation.

The worst inflation, at 8.2%, for 40 years.

The same catastrophic inflation that’s led to a 30% increase in the cost of eggs, 17% for chicken, 14% for bread and 18% for gasoline. And so on.

You can keep telling the American people that the economy is “strong as hell,” but if tens, if not hundreds, of millions of them are experiencing hell because of the economy, then they’re going to call bulls–t.

And that’s exactly what they are doing.

A damning new CBS/YouGov poll reveals that 65% of Americans believe the economy is getting worse, with just 15% saying it’s getting better.

Nearly two-thirds of registered voters think the Biden administration should be doing more to combat inflation.

And as for who’s to blame for this, 91% say it’s President Biden in varying degrees, with 45% saying his personal culpability is “a lot.”

Little wonder that in another poll, for Fox News, just 33% of registered voters said they would re-elect Biden, a lower figure than Donald Trump or Barack Obama ever had, and 62% think he’s a weak leader, with a majority also disapproving of his honesty, trustworthiness, mental soundness to serve and ability to care for ordinary Americans.

In light of these shocking numbers, Biden’s arrogant boasting was not just inappropriate, it was downright offensive.

“I’m not concerned about the strength of the dollar,” he declared in his impromptu unearned victory lap at a Baskin Robbins in Portland, “I’m concerned about the rest of the world. Our economy is strong as hell. Inflation is worldwide. It’s worse off than it is in the United States. So, the problem is the lack of economic growth and sound policy in other countries, not so much ours. It’s worldwide inflation. It’s consequential.”

Then he breached “special relationship” protocol to pick out new British Prime Minister Liz Truss for a personal attack when he was asked about her disastrous recent mini-budget that tanked the pound, led to humiliating U-turns on some of her biggest tax-cutting politics, and forced her to fire her newly appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng.

“It was predictable,” sneered Biden. “I wasn’t the only one who thought it was a mistake … the idea of cutting taxes for the super-wealthy … I disagree with that policy.”

At which point, he paused as if suddenly realizing that gleefully dancing on the political grave of the leader of America’s No. 1 ally wasn’t a good look, and hastily added: “… but it’s up to Britain to make that judgment, not me.”

Too late for that, Mr. President — you’d already told the world what you think, and chucked Truss under the presidential bus.

Aside from his disloyalty — only last month, he told Truss at a press conference at the United Nations, “I look forward to working closely with you, you’re our closest ally in the world, and there’s a lot we can continue to do together” — Biden’s got the flaming effrontery to think he has the right to lecture any other world leader about their economic policies given the way he’s handled US finances since taking office, even if what he said about Truss was broadly true.

It’s like Kim Kardashian scorning people for being talentless, attention-seeking wastrels: They might be, but she’s the last person on Earth who should be attacking them for it.

The truth is that far from being “strong as hell,” the US economy is in a very precarious place and could easily tip into recession.

The stock market’s crashing, the housing market is teetering on the brink of a sharp correction, interest rates are rocketing, household wealth has been decimated, and the worst cost-of-living crisis in living memory continues to cause very real pain and hardship for so many American families struggling to pay their bills or feed their families.

Yes, the aftershocks from the COVID pandemic have contributed to this, as has the ongoing war in Ukraine.

But Biden repeatedly vowed to “rescue” and “recover” America, and so far, he’s done the opposite.

Just as his promise to “unite” the country has led to even more division and partisan acrimony, mainly because he keeps insulting those who voted against him.

So for him to embark on some inexplicable self-congratulatory tour about the “strong-as-hell” US economy, and publicly trash-talk his closest allies for not being as economically smart as he, is a preposterous mischaracterization of reality.

As The Post revealed in a devastating investigation into 401(k) retirement accounts, the average American has lost $34,000 in the past year, or 25% of their savings.

That’s the cold, hard, brutal truth about the impact of Bidenflation.

So put your halo away, Mr. President.

As author Zack W. Van put it: “For every person who rides with a moral high horse, they also have a dead horse that they haven’t fed lying somewhere out of sight.”

‘No Serious Guys Until You’re 30’: Creepy Joe Returns

It seems Biden's daily priorities are the ice cream flavor of the day and having awkward conversations with children.

‘No Serious Guys Until You’re 30’: Creepy Joe Returns

At an event on Friday at Irvine Valley Community College in Irvine, President Biden has once again made a young female uncomfortable. The alleged reason for the visit to the college was to discuss the Biden Administration’s effort to reduce inflation.

Biden stood by the young girl for what appeared a photograph before he placed his hands on her shoulders before he spoke to her.

“Now, a very important thing I’ve told my daughter and granddaughters, no serious guys under 30,” Biden said. “What?” asked one of the girl’s friends. “No serious guys until you’re 30,” repeated the President of the most powerful country in the world to the young girl.

“I’ll keep that in mind,” the girl responded.

The creepy interaction occurred while Biden was speaking about surging inflation at Irvine Community College in California. Biden spoke with Labor Organizer, Susan Meyer at the event on Friday.

Creepy Joe has a history of encounters with girls and women, to the point where he actually made a statement about it.

“Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet,” President Joe Biden in an April 2019 statement.

Meddling with foreign governments that hate the US and pray for it's demise isn't a way to curry favor or sway them to the ally column, but Biden is too stupid to comprehend what he did by trying to get OPEC to pump more oil so we could buy it and when they said "No" because the make more money by dwindling the amount crawled back again to ask if they could delay that bit of bad news until after the mid-terms. Lefty wants you to forget the impeachment trials and what they were really about and continue to chirp about some supposed insurrection while they conduct thuggery in foreign nations.

OPEC Members Line Up To Back Oil Production Cut After US Claims Against Saudi Arabia

OPEC+ member states lined up on Oct. 16 to endorse a steep production cut agreed upon this month following accusations from top Biden administration officials against the Saudi government.

Iraq, the second-largest producer in OPEC, said the move was based on economic indicators and done unanimously.

“There is complete consensus among OPEC+ countries that the best approach in dealing with the oil market conditions during the current period of uncertainty and lack of clarity is a pre-emptive approach that supports market stability and provides the future the guidance it needs,” Iraq’s state oil agency said in a statement.

Oman and Bahrain also said in separate statements that OPEC+ had been unanimous in deciding on the 2 million barrels per day reduction several weeks ago. Algeria’s energy minister called the Oct. 5 decision “historic,” and he and OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais, currently visiting Algeria, expressed their full confidence in it, Algeria’s Ennahar TV reported.

Those statements came after White House and Pentagon spokesman John Kirby accused Riyadh of pushing other countries into making the oil production cut during the last OPEC meeting.

“The Saudi foreign ministry can try to spin or deflect, but the facts are simple. The world is rallying behind Ukraine in combating Russian aggression,” Kirby said in a statement last week, claiming that “more than one” member of OPEC+ disagreed with the oil production cut. He didn’t provide examples, however.

But the Saudi kingdom rejected those allegations, saying that those statements “are not based on facts” and that it had made its decision “purely on economic considerations.”

“The government of the kingdom clarified through its continuous consultation with the US administration that all economic analyses indicate that postponing the OPEC+ decision for a month … would have had negative economic consequences,” the Saudi energy ministry stated last week.

Missiles

Some Democrats, including Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), indicated that the United States should send missile systems meant for Saudi Arabia to Ukraine instead—as a retaliation for the oil cut. President Joe Biden, too, told a reporter this month that the Saudis would face punishment, although he didn’t say how.

“If Saudi Arabia isn’t willing to take the side of Ukraine and U.S. over Russia, why should we keep these Patriots in Saudi Arabia when Ukraine and our NATO allies need them?” Murphy wrote on Twitter.

“We should remove these Patriot batteries from Saudi Arabia and move them to either Ukraine, or NATO partners who have transferred weapons to Ukraine and need to backfill defense systems.”

I mean, they already paid for the weapons and they were delivered...but we're gonna take them back! Um...wouldn't that be invading a nation?
