No herfs lately or near future. Can't find help for the shop so I have been pretty much stuck inside. My usual 50 + events per year went down to 10. But sales are on a steady rise so that is good.

Applause Yes you would. I hear from Alan Beiler ( the black Amish man) every now and then but have not seen or heard anything from the rest of the crew.

Hey hey hey JHC!!!

THE OLD HERF BAR ( BLACK STAR TAVERN?) RESTAURANT ( where lars teten made burgers and gave away truffles) off the OLD RT222 OFF the PA turnpike above Denver and below ADAMSTOWN

Is

ER ESSSSS KAAAPUT!!!

IT HAS BEEN LEVELED TO THE GROUND, along with that **** hotel right next door, and that big bldg behind the bar/restaurant That was a **** antique mart CO-OP, AND THAT THRIFT SHOP up the road on the same side and that gas station in-between was the last hold out...he prolly made them pay thru the nose....every bldg has been demolished and limestone gravel and fill in the basements to level the ground....

I have no idea who bought all that land...

Big enough for a PILOT truck stop? Or a massive RUTTERS TRUCK STOP? WHO KNOWS WHAT IT WILL BE...

Likewise, the Cigar Bar in Lancaster where we would Herf and where I met Jack Conrad for the first time is vacant.

Mr. Jones....
That was the Black Horse. You were close.
I can't believe all of that is leveled. Huge waste of money but your right . Probably Rutters. They are buying prime property and leveling. Some how they were able to remove two protected historic buildings on Rt30 and Rt772. I heard they moved them stone by stone and rebuilt them somewhere or used to repair other historic buildings.
