Hard to Believe the PGR has been running 17 years already...

My very first mission with the Illinois PGR was Staff Sgt. Gary Harper.

Army Staff Sgt. Gary R. Harper, Jr., 29, of Virden, Illinois.
Harper died in Baghdad, Iraq when his reconnaissance mission was attacked by enemy forces. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on October 9, 2005. https://www.fallenheroesmemorial.com/oif/?dates=20050712

between 2005-2007 was a very busy time here in Illinois for PGR Missions. many of these Missions I built and delivered one of my Burial Flag Cases to the fallen Soldiers Families.. It was an Honor!!!

Today's Missions are pretty much for Veterans who've lived their lives out to the fullest and now we honor them with their final rides, along with flag lines at the "Honor Flights" in our State...
