Rioters should've been fired on, and that statement doesn't apply just to 1/6. Guaranteed overall reduction in riots

“As a result of the events on January sixth, the lives of five heroic officers were lost,” Jeffries claimed during the speech.

He knew exactly what he was saying, he's a “lying dog-faced pony soldier”.

No comment on Hakeem's alphabet word salad for idjuts? Did Kamala write this for him?

Quote:
“We will never compromise our principles,” Hakeem said early Saturday morning. “House Democrats will always put American values over autocracy. Benevolence over bigotry. The constitution over the cult. Democracy over demagogues. Economic opportunity over extremism. Freedom over fascism. Governing over gaslighting. Hopefulness over hatred. Inclusion over isolation. Justice over judicial overreach. Knowledge over Kangaroo courts. Liberty over limitation. Maturity over Mar-a-Lago. Normalcy over negativity. Opportunity over obstruction. People over politics. Quality of life issues over QAnon. Reason over racism. Substance over slander. Triumph over tyranny. Understanding over ugliness. Voting rights over voter suppression. Working families over the well connected. Xenial over xenophobia. Yes we can over you can’t do it. And zealous representation over zero confrontation.”

“We will always do the right thing by the American people. So let us not grow weary of doing good for the american people will reap the benefit of the harvest if we do not give up. God bless you. God bless the House. And God bless the United States of America!” Jeffries finished.

Don't play dense- You know what she tore up was Trump's state of the union transcript.

I like you Robert.
But this might be the dumbest post I've ever read on these boards.

First, of course it was the SOTU transcript. You don't need to "call out" something so obvious.
Second, what's "going on now" was born the year before Trump took his oath. The left tried everything to topple him by any means. This is a circus, and it's 99.9% on the shoulders of the left.

Trump didn't create or magnify the events. After a year in the kangaroo court of congress, there has been literally zero proof. A sane and reasonable person would admit there is more evidence of election fraud in 2020 than there is facts tying Trump to the riots.
And based on your SOTU transcript response above, I feel compelled to state clearly that No. I do not think the election was stolen.
But the left sure do like to pick and choose when they need "proof" about something.

The GOP haven't proven themselves capable over the past few weeks. But incompetence is a shining beacon of fortitude when compared to the bat **** crazy speaker who is leaving her throne.

And make no mistake: the incompetence from the GOP is a mere fraction of that lived daily in our white house.

And that is the problem with politics. See those on the left want to blame everything on the right and those on the right blame the left. As long as neither side will admit a degree of fault we as a nation are doomed to the continuing lunacy.

Although tailgator's point was not wrong. The post was idiotic.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by "everything going down now". I was only referring to the inordinate number of floor votes it took for a Speaker to be elected. This should have been done, for whatever length of time it took, behind closed doors in caucus. Then it could have been brought to the floor as a done-deal that required only one vote. not a gazillion

That's our democratic republic doing their job. Sometimes its messy. That lock-step crap the DNC has foisted on America is over for awhile. Oh, I believe they'll go down whining but once the investigations bring light on the $hit they've been doing...time to flush their toilet.

However one describes it or swhich words are chosen to label it, what occurred on 1/6 was a travesty, IMO.

Get over yourself already.

RIP Ashli Babbitt. You want to talk about a travesty?

I can't accept a captain obvious retort as being well thought out.
So you shouldn't generalize.

Damn you.
Please forgive me for misreading what you were saying.
Furthermore, you're not wrong on that point. The republicans are a mess and Trump isn't innocent on that matter.
