The Energy Department’s chief of nuclear waste disposal Sam Brinton, who identifies as genderfluid, has been charged with felony theft after allegedly stealing a female victim’s luggage at Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) Airport in September, court documents show.

Brinton, who was hired by the administration in February, was filmed allegedly stealing a woman’s roller bag at the airport’s baggage claim area by security cameras on Sept. 16, according to a criminal complaint filed on Oct. 27. Security footage also showed Brinton taking the woman’s luggage from the baggage carousel and then removing the tags before leaving the scene at a “quick pace,” according to the complaint.

“After DEFENDANT took the blue bag from Carousel 7, DEFENDANT is observed leaving the airport in a Rideshare vehicle with the blue bag,” the complaint read. “Records from American-Airlines confirmed that DEFENDANT did not check a bag when DEFENDANT departed Washington D.C. to MSP Airport.”

Brinton is an outspoken LGBTQ activist and identifies as genderfluid while using they/them pronouns and, according to The Washington Examiner. Brinton was also a member of a drag queen society called the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” and dressed up as a drag queen character called Sister Ray Dee O’Active, according to a 2018 Instagram post.

The Biden Administration has come under fire after Energy Department official Sam Brinton, who identifies as nonbinary, was charged in two separate instances of stealing suitcases at U.S. airports—with one bag reportedly containing $3,670 in jewelry, clothing and makeup—as GOP officials blame Biden’s “wokeness” for hiring them.

Brinton, who serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Department of Energy’s Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition, was charged last month with felony theft and placed on leave after police claim Brinton stole a woman’s Vera Bradley suitcase at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in September—Brinton initially denied taking the suitcase but later admitted they mistook it for their own.

A felony arrest warrant was issued for Brinton on grand larceny charges on Friday after they were accused of stealing luggage at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That suitcase included $1,700 worth of jewelry, $850 worth of clothing and $500 in makeup, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Fox News reported.

Keeping planes in the air has taken a back seat at the Federal Aviation Administration as the agency pivots its focus to diversity, equity, and inclusion under the leadership of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

The FAA’s mission-critical pilot safety alerting system crashed overnight, causing the agency to temporarily ground all outgoing air traffic across the country Wednesday morning and delay more than 6,500 flights. The FAA has had much to say about the system under Buttigieg’s watch, but not for matters relating to its functionality or upkeep. Rather, the agency announced in December 2021 that it had changed the system’s name from "Notice to Airmen" to "Notice to Air Mission," a "more applicable term" that the agency said is "inclusive of all aviators and missions."

"The language we use in aerospace matters," the FAA tweeted from its official account. "We’ve begun to adopt gender-neutral and inclusive aviation terminology as part of our agency-wide initiative."

But, the only allegations I can find at this time are on Facebook and one or two conservative list serves or the like. Where's Fox heading with these allegations? No excuse or cover-ups for DUI.

I wouldn’t expect the WH to address it as is because it may be just another absurd rumor being floated. However, she/they must be aware of it; if it were me I’d want to address it head on if it were untrue. So perhaps Peter Doocy can ask this at a press briefing and she can address it right on to put the rumors to sleep.
