Well, I've recently dove neck deep back into cigars. I started this hobby in 2003ish and kinda fell out of it some years back. Now, don't think I ever stopped enjoying a good smoke, but life changed and somewhere in there I got tired of maintaining my humi's and basically liquidated my collection. Yes yes yes, I'm kicking myself because I'd have some wonderfully aged sticks had I just not been lazy. lol Anyhow, a few weeks ago I went on a cruise and picked up a few Monte ISOMs and, well, here I am trying to rebuild my collection. Last week I landed one of the 10/10 Monte/Cohiba humidor deals w/ the small humidor, and scoured my attic and found another small old dinky humi about the same size. Needless to say, they're both stuffed to the gills already (one's still seasoning space is already claimed with more stogies arriving tomorrow). I forgot how much fun this site is and was truly thrilled that its still up! I love this place and miss being a part of a forum (it's been years!). I was on club stogie (I think thats the one) back in the day and really enjoyed reading everyone's smoking stories. This last week I've been perusing this forum and you guys are great! I think I may have found a new home :). Anyway, this post wasn't supposed to be this long, but oh well. Now to try to change my handle from my email to a normal handle.

Glad you're here.

Might want to post over to the cigar part of the forum. Not everyone wonders into this neighborhood at night, too sketchy, too many weirdos.

Thanks for the warning about this part of the neighborhood, I'll make sure I'm well strapped when entering after dark from now on.

Pancakes or waffles ? Pancakes if done griddle style in a Mexican Restaurant. (Crispy outside, fluffy middle)
Do you like long walks on the beach ? I'd rather drive
Daisy Mae or Ellie Mae ? Neither
Do you like camping by the river ? Love it, and do it all the time
Cello on or cello off ? If you're talking about the instrument, I'm good with it as long as there's a cigar and good bourbon or cognac around.
David Lee or Sammy ? Music? I like both, depends on mood, but Sammy (RIP when you actually do die) makes better tequila
Warner Oland or Sidney Toler ? Both way before my time
Have you been in a Turkish prison ? Not yet
Do you like gladiator movies ? Yes, Roman empire docudramas/movies, Viking series', WWII movies, and documentaries of all sorts
Have you ever seen a grown man naked (other than mirrors or porn) ? Unfortunately, Yes.
dogs or cats ? Both
Men or women ? Depends on what I want done. Both have their strengths.
Wad or fold ? TP? Wad. Money? Fold
Sit or squat ? Sit
Mary Ann or Ginger ? Both beyond my age and league
Do sad movies make you cry ? Depends if the dog dies.
Butter or margarine ? Used to be margarine, wife turned me to butter.
Pancho or Cisco ?
Still before my time. As far as I go back is the original Clash of the Titans, Wonder Woman & Flash Gordon. Some of the old movies I've seen are really limited to old WWII movies: Guns of Navarone, Bridge Over the River Kuai, Dirty Dozen, Battle of the Bulge, & Tora, Tora, Tora. Chisum was a good western though.

Thanks for the questioner, I think we all learned a little about me... I know I did. I'll throw this out there: I'm only 46, so a few of those outdated my interests.

Based off of admitting he owns an MR2 it could be anyone, but if I were a betting man I’d say cousin Eddie.

Um...we sure he identifies as He/Him? I mean a MR2? Those were lesbo wagons.

My dad had one when he was a young hotrodder. All I hear from all his friends is that was the fastest car in town.

haha, no I don't or ever had a MR2, just a failed attempt at being funny...

This is my old account... I wansn't active on the forums here at all. I spent my forum time on a couple other forums. I really just bought cigars here.

....and um.... about that pronoun nonsense... I'm a him, and I refuse to cater to that asinine train of thought.

yup...I was a Mopar guy...had a '70 Road Runner with stock 383...didn't have the money or skills to make it go fast...barely able to buy gas

there were guys in high school who had both...66 Malibu SS396, 68 GTO, 69 Cuda, 69 Chevelle SS, 70 Duster, 70 SuperBee...several Mustangs...but the real head turner was the neon green 69 Charger Daytona with the tall rear wing...it sounded and looked fast

HP is a bunch of BS. If I hooked 500 horses up to my diesel truck they would drag me all over the place. LOL

today's EV's would smoke all those muscle cars from 60's - 70's... without making your ears bleed

True, but that's not saying much since a Chrysler Pacifica minivan has a better 0-60 time than a '70 Mustang Mach 1, '69 Corvette, a Lotus Esprit S1, and a Ferrari 308 GTB

And I agree, HP has always been an odd unit of measure IMO. Power equal to one horse. Is that a Clydesdale or an Icelandic Fjord Horse? You can't tell me they have the same output

Yup, those EVs are wicked fast but the sounds, smells and rumble of those old gas eaters at the tracks made your heart race (…no pun intended…) like nothing else.

I don’t understand horsepower or ratings in general. Example. 400 hp car hooked to 360 hp truck tractor. (Tractor trailer without a trailer) I could pull the car backwards on idle…. Without even using any of the throttle. I can’t wrap my head around it. Torque blah blah blah…
