^Ya damn right!

Been looking for another bottle of that ever since. LOL

You managed to drop a box of Boli CG's on my porch before they were discontinued. But I smoked every last one of them mofo's long ago!!

Happy New Year, my brother. Hope it is peaceful and prosperous.

this is why I believe Four Roses is the most innovative bourbon producer...
so many recipes
https://fourrosesbourbon.com/our-recipes/

this is the Maisano's version:
OESV=75% corn, 20% rye, 5% malted barley. The corn base provides the mild sweetness while the yeast strain used here adds a delicate fruitiness. Dried fruit, vanilla and spice flavors round out this cask strength Bourbon. Hand selected by our local experts, limited bottles available.

Couldn't remember the bourbon I spent a year looking for before I found it at the local liquor store. Well, Elmer T. Lee is still available, but it's now about 10 times what I used to buy it for.

used to get it for 24 or 25 bucks years ago...last bottle I ever saw for sale in MA was maybe a year after Elmer died and it was $60.

Going through my last bottle and at the rather insane prices I've seen, when it's been available, I'mma gonna pass on buying another.

Oban 14

I don't have a front porch. HA!

Many years ago I was touting ETL right here as a great bourbon at a value price... As much as I liked it enough to be okay with it as my only bourbon if I had to pick one for the rest of my life, I did not think (back then) it was worth $50. Guess I was spoiled.

I no longer have an opinion on it's fair price as it's been so long since I've tasted it. Don't know if it's the same as when Elmer used to dip into the barrels to make sure.

Back then, TW tried to send me a bottle usps. Bottle broke en route and went back to him...he actually replaced it!

Hydrating with applejack with a healthy pour of Evan Williams.

Cheers! 🥃

Not really, true retail is $69.99 before tax. I was fortunate to buy 2 bottles from Binnys recently. I forget what the other is. Binnys charges retail, they never screw people on allocated stuff. How you get an allocated bottle is another question for another day.
