Took the trash out and confirmed that it's kinda cold outside. A sunny -2° F.

Apt building has a gym and saunas. Separate locker rooms and saunas for chicks and dudes but a common gym with basic stuff like treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, free weights and weight machine thingys.

Using the gym stuff sounds like too much work but I might take a sauna if I feel energetic.

Nap #1 completed (BUT is it actually considered a nap if you finally go to sleep before the sun rises? Or is that considered going to sleep rather than napping? I might have to sleep on it and ponder this question)

Trash taken out (check)

Crock pot meal ready to fire up (check) - cheese, potato, kielbasa thingy. Used this recipe as a starting point.
https://www.gracefullittlehoneybee.com/slow-cooker-sausage-and-potato-casserole/

I used diced taters rather than frozen hash browns and I also doubled down on the meat part with one ring of kielbasa and one ring of andouille. Virgin run on the this concoction so we'll see how it turns out

Laundry in the washer (check)

I've accomplished 4 goals today and it's not even noon. Winning!

Up too late and up two early.

Got up to enjoy watching Arsenal (league leaders) play at last place Everton. Last place Everton with a new manager starting today.

Everton 1 Arsenal zero. Certainly should have stayed in bed.

Sadly lacking in steps and motivation for them today. Got to get the minimum of 10,600. Not quite a third of the way there.

Have gift cards for Red Lobster. Neither of us are big RL fans, If that looks bad, it is right next door to a Chuck E. Cheese.

Laundry is done. Prolly should fold it... maybe. Who actually folds laundry other than its one efficient way to maximize the number of clothing articles that you can pack into your drawers. Caveat is a sub section of your wardrobe that includes some clothes that you need to wear to look professional and stuff.

Underwear just gets stuffed into the underwear drawer. Socks get matched up as best as you can and go in the socks drawer (orphan socks are added to the bag of rags), Tee-shirts... minimum folding required. Sweatshirts, jeans, other pants find a home on a hanger in the closet. Sweat pants and jammies...folding is not required so just stuff them into the appropriate drawer.

Shirts with collars need to be put on hangers and kinda smoothed out. Wrinkles will smooth themselves out unless you need to wear them the following day then they may need a little more attention.

Towels get folded or rolled and stuffed into the towel closet in the appropriate bathroom.

Sheets and pillow cases and such do not need to be folded. They will be put back on the mattresses and pillows when it's time for their next rotation. I'm a neanderthal and don't worry if sheets and pillow cases match nor do I care if they come out of the dryer with wrinkles.

My laundry practice follows the 5S methodology.

I might have to do a Kaizen training seminar with my teen kids though.

Pulled the boat out of winter storage, aired up all tires, greased all wheel bearings, charged all batteries and rigged all crappie, hybrid and blue cat rods and reels.............don't care what's biting, it's on for tomorrow.Had back surgery back in September, been impatiently awaiting this trip.I don't really have wifey's full approval but after 40 years of marriage I can take one of her azz chewings standing on my head.

The most fun and engaged I’d ever been at work was six Sigma and Lean stuff from 2015-2019 Then the buyout came along and it was back to top down management & loads of social justice crap.

We implemented Six Sigma some time before I retired. Some time after there was a budget cut and all the black belts disappeared. Anxious

It worked well. More effective and efficient. Expenses were coming down. People were productive, and closer to feeling happish at work. Was merely a green belt. Wouldn’t put myself through the mathematical component to go black.

45° F and mostly sunny here. It's like summer time compared to the temps just the other day.

If the outdoor pool wasn't closed and frozen over, might of contemplated going skinny dipping.

73 degrees. Trying to decide if I get a cigar.

Throat and uvula rapidly swelled up yesterday. It was hard to eat dinner and not a good sleep night. Swelling is gone now and uvula is returning to normal shape.

This has happened once before. Seems to be a food allergy thing but can’t isolate anything.

The Chiefs and Eagles landed in town yesterday and I already saw a convoy of buses with police escorts but not sure which one.

Also the start of the Phoenix Open which ends on Sunday a little before the Superbowl starts.. Wifey and I and friends will be going a couple of times to enjoy the "Greatest Show On Grass". About 500K usually attend over the week.

Well... I'm not a fan of either the Chiefs or the Eagles. But since the Eagles just bounced my Niners, unceremoniously, and mah brutha is a Chiefs fan... I will be rooting for the Chiefs.

I had more to add... but I'm tryna be better.

Your team has a clear advantage. Depth. IF I was a gambling man, I would bet the Eagles minus 2. I think they'll win by 5 or more.
