The Chiefs and Eagles landed in town yesterday and I already saw a convoy of buses with police escorts but not sure which one.

Also the start of the Phoenix Open which ends on Sunday a little before the Superbowl starts.. Wifey and I and friends will be going a couple of times to enjoy the "Greatest Show On Grass". About 500K usually attend over the week.

Well... I'm not a fan of either the Chiefs or the Eagles. But since the Eagles just bounced my Niners, unceremoniously, and mah brutha is a Chiefs fan... I will be rooting for the Chiefs.

I had more to add... but I'm tryna be better.

Morning, floks,

79/57 today.

Back from some time off, but less postings expected than before (and a third person blocked).

At the car dealership to replace a blown rear speaker under warranty!

Hope everyone has a great day too!

Work last night kicked all of our asses. Never sat down, never peed, never ate.

Payback for the night before when I spent 6 hours in a recliner watching Star Wars with a dementia patient.

Nope. He was born in the Philippines, but we came to the US before he was 3. Spent his whole life in CA and hasn't expressed any desire to leave there. Frying pan

Close enough, looks like Sunday night was the full moon. Still looked and felt like a full moon last night tho.

I try not to sleep all day after my work week is over but I was so beat this morning I got home took a shower went to bed at 0900 and slept until after it was dark outside. Only reason I woke up was the wife woke me up so she could wash the bed sheets.

Beater's up on jackstands in wife's garage so I can replace the starter.

Just waiting for the garage to warm up. No reason to work in 30° weather if I don't have to. Wife says she wants her car back in the garage by the morning. We'll see. Looks like I have to pull an axle to get the starter out, so that's going to require complete disassembly of the passenger side suspension and possibly draining and replacing the tranny fluid. Don't have any on hand and will probably break a bolt or three so I don't think it's going to be out of the garage by the morning or even the end of the week.

Didn't go by repair guides recommendation of disassembling from the bottom and pulling axle. If the car was new and not rusty I could see that being easier. But I didn't wanna deal with broken bolts n stuff.

Disconnected shifter cables, ecu, intake, all the bracketry, clutch line, and some sensors. Was able to get at it with several extensions and wobble sockets. 2 hours start to finish not bad and didn't break anything.

Lolz.

This is just every day life in my house. I do nothing but sleep all day and she works around the clock cleaning up after me.
