Weird question (maybe) about Diesel box burlap....

Won a box of Diesel d.4 something or others... around 5 - 5.5 x 50 ish.. (you get it)

Anyway, I got the box yesterday and when I opened the box to take a peek not only were they wrapped in cello (fine) but the whole bundle was wrapped in a strip of burlap and it definitely smells like burlap.

I'm wondering if I should remove the burlap? My OCD is curious but since I put them back in the box to rest in the humi, my gut told me it was ok and to leave the burlap strip on until I could get on here and ask. What say ye?

Keep it or toss it. Probably doesn't matter either way. It's just some packaging thingy that some sales guy (or gal or non gender) thought would look cool.

I'm pretty decisive so I'd just toss it... or keep it. That's my final answer. No whammies, no whammies.... STOP!

Is it going to become a family heirloom or something? You're overthinking it, it's packaging, not the product, toss it.

After the responses here, I dug the box up from the bottom of the humi and opened it up and discarded the burlap strip. It wasn't a 'mild' burlap sack smell, it was a very prominent and strong 'burlap sack' smell and I tossed it.

Thanks everyone. I wish we could share pics of our collections. I'm pretty proud of mine. (No Padrons, No Opus X, etc) but nevertheless a very decent collection of well aged full bodied cigars ~ all for around $3 or less a stick, including shipping.

Really feel like I got some under the radar gems in there. They just needed a 2 year rest.

Save the burlap. It's a bag for the rest of the cigars to be thrown away in after you smoke the first one.

Nogames, you can show pics. You just have to wait 6mths or so for mod approval or utilize a 3rd party site like Imgur or something similar, and drop the link here
