Sin Compromiso Seleccion Intrepido from Corey Sellers out of the goodness of his heart. Thanks brother, this was an excellent smoke! Not sure I tasted everything described below from the Dunbarton website but it was excellent.

https://www.dunbartoncigars.com/marca/sin-compromiso/

At its core is an inherent sweetness paired with a savory spiciness, but hidden within its layers are notes of cocao, espresso, loam and even chicory root.

Sin Compromiso, without compromise, is our company mantra and the guiding ethos for everything we do here at Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust.

Creating a cigar brand to manifest this expression into a tangible reality was an incredibly challenging task as this cigar simply had to be beyond exceptional. From the cultivation of distinct and unique tobaccos to the careful working of these prized leaves to allowing only the very best torcedors to hand craft each cigar. Even the box which contains these vitolas had to be extra special – in short, this cigar is the absolute best of everything.

The result is a truly unique, complex cigar that is smooth, yet strong at the very same time. It delivers a captivating and entrancing smoke for the experienced palate with flavors that are constantly swirling and changing from puff to puff. At its core is an inherent sweetness paired with a savory spiciness, but hidden within its layers are notes of cocao, espresso, loam and even chicory root. I spent over three years of meticulously crafting and tweaking this blend and I can say without reservation it is personally my best liga ever. I have never experienced such an intriguing and satisfying smoke.

Each cigar is gently soft pressed, sleeved in Spanish Cedar and packed in beautifully crafted 13-ct matte-lacquered boxes.

Available at only our very best Select Purveyors and very limited in supply.

Yes sir, but the Chinchalle could be a close runner up, if... IF... it had that Cuban twang Herfing

Todos Las Dias, thick lonsdale, from a 5/22 pib pounding that was rained down on me by our beloved SOB. An absolute pleasure to smoke, dark and chocolatey with some roasted walnut and espresso notes and just the right amount of spice. Really appreciate the opportunity to enjoy this delicious smoke, Dan! Applause

An Amarillo fancy belicoso from DBL Cigars described as:

“It's a box pressed belicoso with a barber pole double wrapper of San Andres Maduro and Connecticut Shade. A beautifully crafted mild to medium bodied smoke, DBL is putting a twist on the classic Amarillo.”

Covered in a dark-brown, seamless, Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, atop a blend of the finest aged Dominican fillers, this full body gem provides a rich earthy tobacco sweetness backed by lush notes of caramel, coffee, and honey.

…LeeBot. Lee RAOK’d the h-e-l-l outta me last July with a whole lotta NHs. Amongst them were a bunch of LCA releases, this Cigar Clowns, The Ron by AJF was the first one I sparked up and WOW! what a smoke! Well constructed, perfect draw and great smoke output. Nice pepper on the retrohale and iffin’ I had a better palate could tell you that there were a least two, mebbe 3 transitions that made for a very interesting and entertaining evening. Thanks again Lee! Herfing

Glad you liked it Conan.

I think that was the cigar that got me started on the LCA kick. I bought it and put in the desktop for a month or so. I really liked it when I smoked it, but by that time, the shpo was out of them. I scrambled around on the internet trying to find some and bought 8 or 10 of them.

Experiences like that compound my FOMO.

Yeah...busted me.

I had 2 windows open and posted on the wrong thread.

I suppose I should thank myself for finding this remarkable blend from Drew. Bought several boxes and the Toro hits the "sweet spot" for me with this line.

...LeeBot. Finally had the time to spark up an LCA Cuban Daiquiri Toro Extra that Lee sent last October in a humongous RAOK. A big boy, 6 x 54, I knew the Daiquiri was gonna be close to a 2 hour smoke. It was but very flavorful with great draw, excellent construction and burn with some nice transitions that kept me on my toes when pondering the meaning of life. I never figured out what life really means but fo' sure that cigar gave me plenny of time to think about it.

Thanks again Lee for the opportunity to try one of these LE releases! ThumpUp

Jakethesnake. He RAOKed me back in February with 5 killer smokes, today's choice was a Warped La Colmena No. 44. Band removal was a small pain but it was well worth the work 'cause the cigar was delicious!... dripping with honey, I do believe, is the proper description... Thanks Jake!

c3s. He sent me a few well aged hitchhikers in a trade package a couple of years back, which included this LFD El Museo from 2009. I'm not sure what they were like fresh but I find it hard to believe that they could have been any better in '09 than today. Great smoke! Thanks Ken!

Conan. Isabela True Cuban Corona, dated 6/7/21, from a late 2022 trade package that turned into another Hawaiian smack down on a poor defenseless n00b!... This may have been the best mild smoke i have ever had. Rich, nutty, toasty, buttery, mildly sweet, thick clouds of smoke, slow burn, perfect ash... a real treat! Thanks Conan, I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar!

...MJRburn. In a 2021 nOOb PIB kick-in-the-shins, Marcus sent an Illiusione Oneoff Corona that was just fan-f*#kin'-tabulous! Really nice flavors (...don't ask me what they were, I'mma terrible at identifying them...) with the right amount of spice / pepper in the retrohale. And the best part, even though it was "only" 5-1/2 x 42, it lasted almost 1-1/2 hours! Thanks MJR for letting me try it!

...Mjrburn. Marcus sent an R44 (dated 10/18) as part of his kick-my-azz Non-Elitist PIB back in Jan. 2019 and with the additional 4+ years of nap time, the cigar was excellent! The early creaminess coupled with the Rosado wrapper, oh baby, doesn't get any better than that! Thanks again buddy! ThumpUp

AF R44

This was the first one from a box that I bought, but I may never have tried them if not for whistlebritches sending me one a couple years ago and Palama sending me another in a more recent bomb. So thank you! This first one from my box was pretty dang tasty, and I'm looking forward to the rest of them as they age.

...^^^ this guy!

Ashton Aged Maduro #40, from a 9/16/21 raok. Perfect draw and burn with thick clouds of sweet smelling smoke. Spicy, meaty, dark chocolate flavors. Paired beautifully with ice cold Blue Moon and thick, juicy, navel orange slices.

Tat Tuxtla 7th, from a 10/04/22 tender box (<--see what I did there) raok. Gotta be honest here, I find many Tat blends to be a bit too peppery for my liking so I was a little apprehensive to ash this MSA wrapped one. Man, was I surprised! Sweet tobacco mixed with a healthy dose of fragrant spices and a mellow retrohale that smelled and tasted like winter spiced honey. Delicious!

Enjoyed both of these over the bday weekend, perfect weather and perfect cigars made for a great celebration! Much thanks to Lee for both of these beauties!!!

..Mjrburn. A couple years ago Marcus sent a Fuente Magnum R44 (…dated 2020-08-29…) as part of his 20 cigar nOOb PIB thrashing. It’s been my contention that in the Magnum line, this vitola begins to shine after a couple of years. This one is definitely “there”. Wonderful smoke with that Rosado sweetness and creaminess.
