Haven't bought any Cuban cigars in the past few years but my stash of them is running low. So... it's time to replenish with a couple boxes. Easy peasy right?

Went to look and ready to buy from the reliable online sources that we are all familiar with.

HOLY CRAP! Have you seen the prices they are selling for nowadays? Woowzers. I won't be in the market for CC anytime soon.

For S&G I went to a couple of trusted sites and at one place PSD4s were going for $35! I love them, probably my favorite CC Robusto but no way they’re $35 good!

Everybody knows you never go full Celticbomber.

Opened an email a month or two back and they had several NCs on sale, presumably to make the pricing look sane. Then some CCs that were just stupid. Then there were some aged CCs that you could purchase for the price of a solid used car

Dont know why da fuq I’m laughing.
I’ve been pretty much priced out of buying cigars that are to my liking.
Luckily I have collected a few over the years……..

I am going with smaller, skinnier cc cigars that are full of flavor. That's the best I can do for now. Prices will stabilize-eventually- I hope!

I kinda get where ya comin from, Corey...a lot of Cubans from various makers have similar flavor profiles that, to my palate, are grassy, flowery and incense-like...not something I would enjoy every day or even once a week...they are once in a while treats for me, and I usually will have one when I have a guest(s) smoking with me...

However, two of the best cigars I ever had were gifted from MACS; the first a Punch Punch that was from 2006 and the other was a Montecristo Edmundo from 2007...those were some fine cigars! Another fantastic Cuban cigar that was unlike most others was a Trinidad Fundadore. I bought a couple boxes 7-8 years ago, when they were selling for $16/each when you bought a box. They're selling for 3.5 x that price now...

But like most CBidders, I will not be pushing out Benjamins thru my pee-hole for Cuban cigars at the current asking prices. I also fear that they are selling at those asking prices, since many makes and vitolas are listed as "not in stock" so I'm not confident the prices will drop back to where they were pre-pandemic.

That Edmundo is my favorite CC so far!

I also share your fear, if they're selling, why would they drop the price.... scary thought for po joe's like me!
