Empty Cigar Boxes...

Ok so how many of you have closets full of empty's?

I've got a local friend who builds Cigar Box Guitars and sells them and donates some to Charities for Raffles etc.

A couple weeks back I dug out 6 boxes and gave to him in return he is building me a guitar out of one of my favorite Padron anniversary boxes. I don't play the guitar so its going up on the wall like memorabilia talking piece.

But if you've got extra boxes doing nothing? I'll add his link to contact him, tell him Russ sent ya and the two of you can work out details of a trade or outright offer for him to purchase your old boxes.

You would have to contact him on the links proviede and work out your own deal with him.. just tell him Russ sent you..

I gave him 6 nice boxes in return he is making us one guitar out of a padron box I gave him... So he'll work with you and or deal to purchase your empty boxes outright... Herfing

I dabbled in this some. I've been considering a bass, but think with the higher tension of the heavier strings, I'd have to figure out how to do an actual truss rod to keep the neck from warping. Probably doable, but more work than I've been willing to dive into so far
