Have you tried a Montesino Maduro? I read about them being made with a CT wrapper at the AF factory and thought I'd give it a try with a fiver. I just went back and ordered a box. I would have ordered a few boxes but I'm trying to slow my roll buying cigars. These are good... real good. Perfect draw, taste, burn, and nice and firm. Love it. Some of the sites bill this as a low cost alternative to AF branded cigars and it is lower price but still a top quality cigar. Highly recommended.
Here's what ChatGPT has to say about them:
Montesino Maduros are premium handmade cigars that are known for their rich and complex flavors. They are produced by the famous Fuente family, who have been making cigars for generations and are renowned for their quality and craftsmanship.
The Montesino Maduro is made from a blend of Dominican long-filler tobaccos, which are carefully selected and aged for several years to enhance their flavor and aroma. The binder is also made from Dominican tobacco, and the wrapper is a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro leaf.
The result is a medium to full-bodied cigar with a rich, earthy flavor profile that includes notes of coffee, cocoa, and spice. The draw is smooth and easy, and the burn is even and consistent.
Overall, the Montesino Maduro is a top-quality cigar that is perfect for both novice and experienced smokers who appreciate a flavorful and well-crafted smoke.
