C.A.O box press Maduro. Smoke this once and your rationalization of what a good Maduro goes straight into the crapper. This is one complete cigar. As long as Nick can keep the quality in line with the former Cost Rican factory, this cigar will prevail as the best Maduro out there today. Thoughts?

I will agree also add Perdomo Reserve. And for an inexpensive one throw in the Santa Rosa or Maya.

I would add the Ashton Aged Maduro's, especially after coming of age for a year in a humidor. My question is though, why in hell would Fuente make a Maduro? These cigars were as good as they could be, then they go fooling around with it and making maduros. Some cigars, the maduros make sense, and they are an excellent fit, but some cigar companies think they have to have a maduro line, and it just doesn't work. Maduro for maduro's sake is not a good idea. Those Macanudo maduro figurados that look like a bowling pin are also very good, but a third of them have to tight of a draw.

I surprised to hear that someone else has had a good experience with Santa Rosa.I have smoked several maduro torpedos and I never get around to ending one because the filler burns before the wrapper. The first fire retardent cigars I ever had.

I also experienced the tunneling problem with the Santa Rosa's but have had advice on here to throw em in the humidor for a while and have some patience. Probably good advice:)

I let my Santa Rosa age for about 30-90 days before I smoke them. I have never had anything but an even burn, I would recommend the same to anyone trying Mayas.

My experience, however limited, tells me it's hard to beat the smoothness of a Mayorga maduro. Any others agree?

Great cigar, yet not even close to the CAO Maduro.

Everyone smokes Brazilia. Some just don’t claim them. They pretend it doesn’t happen.

To the best of my knowledge and spreadsheet, I’ve NEVER had a CAO Brazilia. Never. Ever.

I guess I’m really missing out. Brick wall

Or not. Not talking
