I hope this data is in legible form once I hit "enter".....Counties won by Gore: 677 /
Counties won by Bush: 2,434 ....
Population of counties won by Gore: 127 million /
Population of counties won by Bush: 143 million ....
Square miles of country won by Gore: 580,000 /
Square miles of country won by Bush: 2,427,000 ....
States won by Gore: 19 /
States won by Bush: 29 ....

Now Professor Joseph Olson of the Hamline University
School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota has produced
another
interesting new statistic. Professor Olson looked up
the
crime statistics for all of these counties and came up
with this:

Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won
by
Gore: 13.2 /
Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won
by
Bush: 2.1

Hey Tailgater email me with Reference material (where did you find these sats)I can always use some level headed ammunition :-).Although most on the other side of Liberty would rather listen to the status quoe.It never hurts to try. It's an uphill battle but we do have 4 yrs.I too am very open minded but when I hear the phrases it takes a village(socialisim),affirmitive action (reverse racism),Gun Control(lets try preditor control and give us back the rigt to protect ourselves).Again I'll quote Ben Franklin"They that can give up essential liberty to
obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Actually, a good friend of mine sent most of this information to me via email. The first set of statistics should be relatively easy to obtain. For the last tid-bit regarding the murder rate, perhaps you could follow up with the university. I went on blind faith in re-posting these, but based on the fact that the dems won high populus cities it is easy to believe.
