It seems that the two EX-highest ranking democrats had a verbal go at it soon after Gore's concession speech. Al went into Bubba's office and blamed his lack of moral fortitude on the loss, whilst Clinton deflected the blame to Gore claiming he should have embraced the Clinton legacy more tightly. Both have good arguments and it will be interesting to see comments regarding this incident which was leaked today in one of the New York papers.

whether you like clinton or not, he would have won another term. what it says about the country is his personal life was not as important as some people think. gore was not going to win no matter what. florida was set up for bush a long time ago. the butterfly ballot is a scam. buchannan got so many fotes more than anybody expected, including him. it was the design of the butterfly ballot to have his pin hole as #2. sure the older people or those in a rush should have been able to see that, but nobody except the designers of that ballot really knew what a scam it was. loading th3e supreme court did not hurt either. politics is not fair, but it shouldn't be dirty. (i will duck now while i wait to get bombarded with responses)

Richard,YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS????(1) The ballot was designed by the Democrat's and thier canvasing board.(2)The ballot could have been protested at any time before the election, guess what it wasn't.(3)The only dirty part of the florida election fiasco was the Democrats trying to steal the election by only counting votes in democratic leaning counties.(4)I'll agree on one point the Supreme Court in the past has been trampling all over our individual rights for some time now,but thank God they got this one right!!!(5)I must throw this in just because your expecting it.You sir and your like need to get your heads out of the clouds and except reallity,it's either that or pull your heads out of your ARSE'S.Richard YOU CAN"T BE SERIOUS ?????.Al Gore lost because he stuck up for WILLY when it counted and the swing voters in middle America new it,plain and simple.

richard? i haven't been called that since high school. so far so good, but please no collectiveness (you and your like). like you i arrive at my judgements independently. i look for more disagreements and/or possibly some one who agrees, at least in part. perhaps someone of my "like".

Pointing out that Clinton would have won another term is based on one thing: The Economy. People think with their purses, and when things are good no one complains about the guy at the top. Bush Sr lost to Bubba because of the economic down turn that happened during his term. Greenspan has kept the American people in love with Clinton. I don't hate everything Clinton has done, I just don't think he deserves the credit he's given for the economy. Running the USA is too large a task for one individual. A great leader needs to surround himself with great people. Clinton has surrounded himself with thieves and crooks. We NEED respectability. Can you HONESTLY say you're PROUD of Clinton? Are you PROUD that Ray Lewis won superbowl MVP? He was found guilty of obstruction of justice in a MURDER case. Achievements don't justify the acts. Bill Clinton, as a person, is a joke. Period.

Way to go Tailgater! The only current sleeze that you left out of your blast was the Teenybopper lover Mark Chumura! Are we proud of him?

Richard,No I don't believe there is a chance in hell that Willy would have been re-elected,I do believe however that if he was able to run a third term. You would have seen the largest rebulican/libertarian/moderate,voter turnout in history.JMHO.Now Richard as usual you never answer any of my questions. You simply add more INANE CHATTER to use one of your (likes) terms for an opinion!!!(Sorry E-Chick)jump in when ever your ready LOL.Anyway Ricky I await your defense of your earlier statements,Although I'm sure you have none.LOLOL
