I've found these to be quite tasty but very inconsistent and poorly constructed. Did anyone else find this to be the case? I wonder if the cigars that are put up for auction tend to be the "rejects" from cigars international and others...does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I called CI once on this and asked if they auction seconds, for I won a box of Sosa cigars that looked pretty sickly. They said absolutely not and sent me a new box of Sosa's, if they sell seconds on the auctions I assure you they will advertise them as such. It doesn't surprise me that you had this experience with V Centennial.

I bought a 5-pack of Churchill Maduros, and have had the same experience as yourself, tunneling/uneven burn and tight draw. As shame as the cigar itself is very attractive and good looking. All in all it should be a good smoke, but aren't really. The taste is allright though.

The official word is that they're generally inconsistent. The sticks I rec'd were not seconds. I guess that's why they're only $2 apiece...
