the blah blah blah is my shorthand for the painfully long titles some of the cigar companies give their cigars, I mean give me a break, the Flor de Olivas blah blah blah, these companies must be really proud of their cigars these days. Anyway I am hoping to get a box of the Dos Rios now that I have heard good things from you fine people on their quality. There's five available, hopefully I can squeeze out just one box. Then squeeze it somehow into the cabinet. I don't have a clue what the suggested retail is on these things, so don't go on at me if I overbid!!

as far as you not knowing the price and afraid of overbid. I go to other retail sites for cigars and look at the rating (put up by indeviduals) and price before I bid. This has helped me.

Looks like $85.00 might hold. I'd like to try also but will wait for new auction instead of bidding up. Let me know what you think of them.

In my humble opinion the Dos Rios cigars are just that...blah,blah,blah! Nothing extraordinary about them. Don't get too upset if you can't get ahold of some.

I am touched that so many of you took such an interest in my auction! I also quietly won a box of Puros Indios Toros tonight that I needed to replenish. But first I hear everyone rave about how good this cigar is, then the bloke a few post up poo-poos it, well isn't that just spiffing.

aberdeen, don't put too much stock in my opinion on cigars. It's just as of late I have been finding alot of cigars (Dos Rios, Partages Series "S", and others just are not living up to there promise and reviews. I am beginning to think that for my money I will stick with the old, well known Punch, Hoyo de M, Mac, Upmann, and standard Partagas. I must admit the Bahia line is very good, but over priced. Sorry, I did'nt mean to rain on your parade.

Punch eh? well I have about 25 gran crus I would love to get rid of if you wanted to trade, have some H Upman as well. Actually I don't know the retail of Dos Rios, but when 35 come in a box and I pay I think it was $85, that's just over $2 a stick, not bad.
