Before we get into the cigar, please give us a moment to discuss its purpose. Zulu Zulu comes from Gran Habano....specfically, George Rico of Gran Habano. This cigar was created to raise awareness of child soldiers. Each purchase of these cigars benefits the non-profit organization Invisible Children, a group created to fight for children's rights. It's a great cause, one most don't know exists.

Gran Habano Zulu Zulu is made in very limited quantities. In fact, only 2,000 boxes are made. This Honduran cigar comes in two varieties - Connecticut and Habano - each filled with Cuban-seed long-fillers from Nicaragua. The Connecticut is Ecuadorian-grown, offering a silky, seamless appearance and creamy profile. Dense notes of cream, cedar, white pepper, and sweet tobacco soote the palate, completing a savory, mellow to medium-bodied bouquet. The Habano is a bit more aggressive, thanks to a thick and leathery Habano wrapper from Nicaragua. The smoke is bold and rich, issuing deep hints of spice, leather, black tobacco, cinnamon, and a touch of sweetness.
