The idea behind Tatuaje Havana VI by Don Pepin Garcia’s was to craft a Nicaraguan puro that smokes like today’s finest medium-bodied Cubans. A tall task indeed, but Pepin has the tobacco to do it. These tobaccos, hearty Cuban-seed leaves grown in the rich, fertile soils of Nicaragua produce a bold, earthy flavor with hints of pepper, common to various top Habanos. Wrapped in a beautiful Nicaraguan wrapper and nicely fitted with a triple-cap, the Havana VI is as good as it looks.
