Perdomo Grand Cru is a savory new cigar made entirely from Cuban-seed tobaccos grown from a special 2004 crop on one of Tabacalera Perdomo’s plantations. Each leaf was carefully inspected – leaf by leaf, hand by hand – prior to curing, fermentation, and aging....then inspected once more prior to rolling to ensure the best yield possible was used to craft the Grand Cru. The cigar is available in two formats – a Nicaraguan Corojo and Nicaraguan Broadleaf maduro – each of which is chock full of finely aged Nicaraguan long-fillers. The result is an elegant, well-balanced smoke with a medium to full-bodied profile, but full-flavored character. Rich, hearty flavors dominate throughout the slow burn, providing deep notes of dark tobacco flavors, espresso, and the slightest touch of sweet black pepper. Tasty from A to Z....but you would expect nothing less from Perdomo.
