Back to THE SIXTIES.
Just when I thought Macanudo couldn't get any better, they bring back the best of the ‘60s. No, not The Beatles. Not even bell-bottoms. It’s a limited edition cigar comprised of tobacco cultivated from the same seed type used for the original Macanudo sold in the 1960s. That’s far out, man. It took them four long years (eight growing seasons) via an accelerated regeneration process and the result is a cigar with more flavor and individuality than Jimi Hendrix. Well, pretty close. A team of Macanudo mad scientists managed to cultivate these seeds on an experimental plot in both the Connecticut River Valley and the Mao region of the Dominican Republic.
Macanudo MAO is the latest installment of the highly-rated yearly limited edition Estate Reserve release. Only 1,800 boxes of 10 were made in 2016. Each one signed and dated by master blender Jhonys Diaz himself. The presentation is stunning; from the box artwork, to each cigar being individually packaged in cedar coffins. Inside you’ll find a flawless US Connecticut Shade wrapper housing long-fillers from Nicaragua, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. Its medium body is sure to please anyone lucky enough to get their hands on one, offering delicious notes of cedar, nuts, and cream.
Peace, love, and Macanudo, dude. Take home boxes of one of Macanudo's finest limited edition release in years. A classic 7"x50 Churchill size at an unheard of 56% off.
