Easy there noob mooch.... no one has called you a thief.... those are completely different things.

Mooches are given and do not return the kindness

Thieves take things not given/earned... kinda like democrats

No I get it and I have already said that I'm not pan handling.
And I understand a lot of people are out there for free shyte.
But that ain't me i just want everybody to understand I'm trying to get all the info I can before spending hundreds of dollars for stuff I might not like.

Meant to say...look for the Diesel Unholy Cocktail. Tasty gar, not expensive at about 2.50-3 a stick, niiiice smoke in my opinion. Also shows up on freefall from time to time.

Ok I understand a little hazing to the noobs.
But this calling me a mooch shyte has got to stop.
It's offensive to my person in all seriousness.
It's bugging me.
Calling me me a mooch is like calling me a theif and I don't like it at all.

I have been taking all the advice and copying it over to my note pad and am almost ready to travel down to mission pipe.

some say ya gotta have a thick foreskin to hang out here...... Mellow

Lol @drifterx well I got the armored ant eater of foreskin. +2 to not giving a shyte
:-)

Most of these guys remind me of my favorite bartender (who was my first BOTL)

No skin of my taint.

snixon22 as you can see by the number of posts I have that I'm somewhat a noob myself. From one noob to another, let me offer you some unsolicited advice.

First and foremost, RELAX!!!!
I can tell from first hand experience there are literally dozens of BOTL that are nothing if not helpful. Being defensive will get you nowhere. If you can't take a little ribbing, you may want to reconsider joining. This group of guys bust each others balls 24x7. It's a way of life, a state of mind if you will.

2nd
If I were you I'd reconsider the noob/vet trade. Yes it requires a leap. But, from what I have seen you will be happy you did so.

3rd
If you ask a question, make sure it is one that you don't think you already know the answer to. That will get you nowhere in a hurry.

My 02 cents.
62. Author: ZRX1200Date: Wed, 6/27/2012, 1:55PM EST
Try 5 packs here or singles from your local shpo.

Your pallet will evolve to different strengths/flavor profiles as you go so asking advice on such a subjective thing is a bit tricky.

Fuente is the most consistent brand you'll find though the profile may not be in your wheelhouse its a great baseline to see what you might like more or less. Go grab a 858 in maduro and natural, smoke them and report back here. Then I'll give you good advice.

+1 on the vet/noob trade. That's how I got started here. I had a 50 count humi when I made I first post. It was half full and I thought I had more than enough cigars. My vet put a whoopin on me I will never forget. I now have 28 bottle wine fridge that's bursting at the seems from being packed full of cigars. Damn you watchurai!

Got my start on the noob/vet trade as well. Started with a 25 count humi and that lasted for a week. Looking into the coolers as well. Lots of room for only 20 bucks.

Stephan, keep an eye open for Alec Bradley Family Blend VR1. CA rated them in the low 90's. They can be found on free fall in 10 packs for about $2.75 a stick. Look them up. If you get some and are unhappy, I'll trade you for them.

so these "bombs" Y'all send each other.
do they contain stuff you don't want just to F with the person sometimes.
or are they like pranks too?

can they be nice bombs?

Everything is done out of sincere and genuine efforts. The Brothers and sisters here due are very kind and open about sharing, both info and good cigars. 99% of the time the bomb's are excellent cigars that everyone enjoys, and they want to share with another brother or sister.

Though there is this one noob called starflyer(or something like that) that gets some interesting packages to say the least. . Still not real sure what he did, but I know I don't want to repeat it. Frying pan

A good rule of thumb here is don't ever send anything you wouldn't want to smoke yourself, and if possible, send medium to top end smokes.

Any totally top shelf smokes, send to me for proper disposal!
84. Author: knokmdwnDate: Thu, 6/28/2012, 10:24AM EST
Oh.........and NEVER, EVER send someone a moldy cigar or one with bug holes in it, even if you think the bugs are dead.

This is serious. I had a couple different people send me cigars with beetle holes in them and not tell me. I friggin shiiit. That's one way to really piiss me off. Now I make a habit of freezing everything that comes in from anyone, including shpos.

And trust me...they are going EASY on you. If you have no ulterior motives, then laugh it off...or flip chit back. But getting more sensitive over it will likely only sharpen the pitchforks, if you catch my drift.
