Nick from Perdomo steps in here about once a week. Maybe start a thread and ask him what he would recommend.

Met at fellow BOTL when I was at the beach last week, he was on the campsite next to mine. Damn nice guy from Va, was gonna try to get together and herf one night but never could get the chance. He left the day before we did and I gave him 2 Tats, 08 SW Reserva and a 2003
Conjonu. He gave me 2 Perdomo's one 10th anniversary champagne and another one he said was the bigger brother (sorry can't remember , starts with an N) both 60 gauges. I haven't had a chance to fire one up yet.

Nah, I wasn't expecting anything in return, he asked how they were and I just figured I'd share with the guy.
He loves his Predomo's though, he smoked the hell outta them while we were there.

Most of the ones i've had have been way too mild for me but none of them have been tasting cigars or had construction issues.

I think they're pretty good sticks for beginner smokers or those that like the milder stuff.

The 10th anniversary champagne is a good smoke. I've had two so far and they were both great!
15. Author: nnightmarDate: Sat, 7/14/2012, 9:17PM EST
Sounds like a Noir. Got a buddy that seems to smoke those by the crate. Not a fan of 60 rg.

EDS maduro is one of my top favorite when you can find them. Got one left and dont want to smoke it until I can find some more... Really good smoke IMHO.

I really like the 10th Anniverary Maduro. A very solid mid-range stick. I keep them in my rotation.

Oh, and Nick is a Bama fan so that makes him top notch in my book.

#10^ That's prolly a 10th Anniversary Champagne Noir, a very good med-full Perdomo.

I really like several of the Perdomo cigars.
But I would not describe any of them as Full Body stix.

Solid medium, some of them.

The strongest Perdomo I've had was probably the old la Tradicion Cameroon. Those are great sticks (haven't had the new pc size, though). The ESV Maduro is a solid medium, possibly medium+, and a very good cigar.

+ 1 on the Cabinet series, ESV, EdS.

I thought the older Perdomo2 were nice budget sticks before being discontinued. I haven't had any since they have been resurrected. I just don’t buy the add copy on re-released cigars that claim they are “new and improved” or “better than ever.”

Maybe you’re right but I save my money to snap up all those cigars made with pre-embargo Cuban leaf. Now that’s where it’s at baby!

Surprised Nick hasn't posted. I'm going to be meeting Nick in a few weeks twice. He's going to be at two diff Local B&M's in the same week. Was hoping to intrdude myself here before I meet him in person. heh Maybe score some cigars that he's testing and aren't available to the general public yet;-p

Heh boy was I wrong need to check my calender more often. Heh met Nick tonight at the Local B&M and he was a really nice guy. He even mentioned Cbid when I brought it up and how he likes the site. I wound up buying a mixed box and getting a really nice table top lighter. Pic should post tomorrow in the picture forum.

Usually means, "we bought the label, and are now having them rolled in China, using old moldy tabacco we found sitting in a wharehouse in NYC".

Had a habano maduro robusto I burned after reading this thread. It was tasty, pleasant and stronger than I expected after reading some of the other posts. Burned great and seemed like a med or medium full to me.
