Padron Cigars (and like or dislike now)
1. Author: TonyM1122Date: Sat, 9/11/2021, 1:04AM EST
So.. just a question here on any old Padron Smokers. Love the Padron Taste and smell and what not. I know Padrons have been hard to get recently. BUT - here's my experience. 2 weeks ago went to a favorite cigar shop. and they had jusst received Padron Cigars. Of course I grabbed plenty of them. But to my dismay.. this last shipment of PAdrons.. they do not taste at all like Padrons. complete Garbage tasting. I tried tonight a P4K and chucked it.. its not Padron. so what gives here.. I wasted $ for a subpar , non padron tasting sticks. and yes I've already complained to Padron. Any others here have the same experience lately. PAdron family mixing bad sticks just to make up for the Corona/Covid layoffs?
.

My padrons are old stock so couldn't speak to fresh quality
Never had a problem

Have you had the wu-flu?
A lingering side affect is olfactory destruction.
Don't blame Padron for something Faucci did to you is all I'm saying

Don't pay any attention to Dg as he gets everything wrong particularly in religion and politics.

Try resting the cigars for a couple of weeks or longer and see if they are better.

Don't pay any attention to TonyG..............he has his head buried so far up his ass we have to pump him sunshine

BTW TonyG this is the Cigar Discussion arena..........keep your nutty politics where they belong,in the politics forum.

Now TonyM......I like DG have no fresh Padrons to compare.I have always thought Padrons need rest, lots of rest.I'm talking 5 plus years.I burned a Londres Maddie last week that had 8-9 years rest and it was delicious. You may get away with smoking a PAM 26/64 in a couple months of humidor time but the standard and thousand series need sleep.Bury them in your humidor in a dated box and revisit them in 5 years or so..........the more rest the better they are my friend.

WB is a moron. He has water on the brain. He just told you what I did in many more words and he just doesn't seem to know it.

I haven't bought any Padrons recently either. Sorry.

But you should stop smoking loser cigars like Padron, and get a real cigar like CAO Brazilia. It's poetry wrapped in a cigar leaf.

I see MACS is working on his tombstone inscription. I'm surprised that there is no stolen election commentary ---yet.

the results were so overwhelming throughout most of the state, any claim of election fraud or theft would look and sound like untethered extremist whining...

GOP will need more than far right extremism, Trumpism and anti-Dem rhetoric to become relevant in CA statewide elections again...

That's why Tony's padrons are beat?

Thanks Newsom!

When I go out to smoke in the garage, I usually take two lighters. A Jetline triple that I use to toast and light and a Xikar Single Tech for touchups. The Xikar has a clear body so easy to see the butane level. The Jetliner has a small window so it's not so easy to see so if it runs out, I just use the Xikar to light up.

Smoked 3 Padron's over the past few months. The Habano '26 was amazing. The '64 Maduro was very good. The regular Padron Habano line is still just average, ok, nothing to brag about, even boring.

Were they the thousand series? The last batch of those I got were rolled loose, burned quick, and tasted awful.
