Not a big wino but when you have Italian food sometimes you gotta git yer wine on.
Last night went low brow and picked up Menage A Trois Decadence Cab. I thought it went well with the meal so much that I poured a second glass and had a cigar after dinner. |

19 crimes Martha Stewart. I don’t really dig white wine but I bought it for the bottle. I do really like red wines quite a bit. I’m not into super fine reds. I typically buy Malbec or blends |

I don't often drink wine, but recentlly had the occasion to enjoy a Justin Cab and also a Prisoner blend and they were both excellent. The Prisoner really needed an hour of decanting, but was quite nice. |

RIP (D*ck) Erath (87)
He is considered the pioneer in planting Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley in Oregon in 1968 which now produces some of the best in the US. We have a trip planned for this summer to that region again.
He came to AZ in 2004 and planted one of the first wine grape vineyards which spawned what is now over 120 wineries in the state. |

Yesterday I enjoyed my last bottle of Ledger David 2018 Primoris, easily my all time favorite white wine. I was really shocked how well this aged, I normally drank these fairly quickly as a wonderful summer wine or with cheese and cracker and cured meats.
The mineral bite was softened and the melon note was barely perceptible but the heat of the abv was great with the mellow sweetness and the peppery mineral finish.
Fricken divorce recked the two finest vineyards we’ve ever had. |
