Balconies has a single malt that is very good,Lineage Texas single malt( not tried this one) plus a host of other whiskies.My favorite is the Texas pot stilled bourbon.It's you can't get this in the islands.............have LFR willing to travel. |

they make a couple or three bourbons out of blue corn, a powerhouse Texas rum, something called Rumble that's not rum but some kind of 90+proof liquor made from wildflower honey, and some other stuff...none of which are for lightweights. |

Last night..a cpl fingers of Woodford Wheated I have been busy learning the craft and aging my own in new charred mini white oak barrels for about the last 2-2 1/2 years. For personal medicinal use only of course....the best yet has been a four grain MBill aged just shy of 1yr in 5L mini white oak barrel...went into bottle @ 1 4 2 P.  |
